HALO Was, Is, And Always Will Be Better Than DESTINY
The music.
The story.
The story.
The story.
The gameplay.
The acting.
The script.
Everything about Halo was/is better than Destiny.
I honestly feel that Destiny is a second-rate, hand-me-down version of Mass Effect.

EDIT : LoL, I agree. As someone who has put in over 300 hours on Mass Effect, it was wrong of me to compare it with Destiny. Even if I very clearly explained Mass Effect was better, it should never have been in the same room as Destiny.
You see, I can admit when I fock up. *psst* Bungie ... you can still save face if you just LISTEN and appropriate.

I think that destiny originally came out half finished. The house of wolves and the dark below should have been in the game from the start and the first dlc should have been the taken King. Also why is the taken King £40 it should be £30 like WTF bungle you money whores

작성자: briosheje 9/18/2015 3:58:09 PMHalo surely was a great franchise (Halo 1 PC is still alive, since 2004 I believe), but as far as I can tell it was until 343 industries took it, and that's why I believed (and still believe) in destiny, because it is made by Bungie (let's ignore activision for instance). That said, unless you're comparing halo 4 or 5 with Destiny, the two games are way too different to be compared, mostly because halo was (and probably still is) an FPS game, nothing more than that currently: you take an assault rifle and you shoot aliens and eventually people in the PVP, following a storyline and abusing about unresolved bug (like this: http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/Sword_flying), which is slightly different from what destiny is, mostly because of the weapon variety and equipment. My 2 cents : Destiny deserved a way larger storyline in its first title (which is what halo has anyway), with more cinematics, more levels, more enemies, more cooperation and so on, which is what seems to be a little bit more available in the latest DLC (I haven't been able to play that much the taken king DLC until now, but I've been enjoying it these days), despite I'm pretty sure they could do more than that. Also, multiplayer maps. Are we supposed to talk about that? Halo's (partially) symmetric maps were far ahead than what bungie did here, seriously. I'm seriously missing bloodgulch, rat race, sidewinder, timberland, carousel... Destiny's multiplayer maps seems to be all about hide 'n seek with shotties, while in big maps there is nothing but camping. Halo (luckily) wasn't like that.

6 답변The real problem, as I've said before in the past, are the fanboys and people who pre order. They are the ones who dictate how these cash grab companies behave, because they keep agreeing to their unethical and deplorable business practice every time they buy something from them. They are the ones responsible for enabling companies like activision, and now bungies, greed. They are responsible for what's wrong with the gaming industry. As long as there are fanboys, and those that pre-order...this unethical, shady and deplorable cash grab business practice will continue. Which is why I... [b][i]BOYCOTT BUNGIE AND ACTIVISION[/i][/b]

3 답변Mass effect blows destiny out of the solar system. Basically Destiny just stole some ideas for the scifi side and took the reaper indoctrination idea literally.

6 답변SERIOUSLY. XD Come on, yo. The last game Bungie made was Halo: Reach for crying out loud. How do you go from making something as epic as THAT to making something like Destiny? Who else was expecting waaaaay more from Destiny? I know for me that was the major reason I got the game.

Nostalgia may be swaying me but, halo 1 & halo 3 - were just fantastic. The Atmosphere of them, the music, gun play, enemy AI and enemy design - all top drawer stuff. The story was good, at least comprehensible and engaging. AND at no point did I feel ripped off. Bonus.

Adding small amounts of new content and rehashing the old content to try and keep you playing and charging 40 dollars for the privilege. I believe they are both turds in the same toilet and regret buying either.
