What do you do when your parents don't love you?
Hey guys, I'm a 14 year old gamer who doesn't know what to do. My parents don't have time for me and instead favor my sister. They tell me I wa a mistake and that they can't wait until I'm 18. I unfortunately am not old enough to move out, so what do I do?

If they don't care about you, then don't care about their opinion. My parents tend to compare me to my older sisters always saying, "Your sister did this, why can't you?" I have learned to accept what I can and can't do, and that sometimes I won't be able to please people. But, I am myself and I'm happy with that, I will find other people happy with that too.

But really have a serious conversation with them and ask why don't you like me? Is there anything I could do better? That is what I would do. If they do anything bad like giving you no food, water, or locking you in your room for long periods of time (like 24hrs or more) you could easily call social services to have your parents tried for child endangerment. Again, I'll be praying for you.

I start playing Skyrim... My parents don't pay much attention to me anyways. My mom is either at work or with her "miracle essential oils" meeting, and my dad only cares about his insanely loud speakers and watching TV. Seriously, he spends 95% of his time sitting in the same spot. He even SLEEPS there. He barely moves at all and never wants to do anything with me... Skyrim makes me feel less lonely.
