So is TTK worth it, or another let down?

11 답변I want to know about what i've seen in twitch streams of the strikes. Bosses appear, i mean REALLY appear to be bullet sponges again. Just much more difficult environments to fight said bullet sponges. True? * was watching people with light level around 280 and they seemed pretty good with good guns. I am interested but so far it looks like a new coat of paint on an old car........What am i missing here?

3 답변It's only worth it if the $40 stretches the full year and they don't make me buy another expansion in a few months. The way I see it, $60 to get your foot in the door, $35 for growth of first year, $40 of second year content. If next year they charge $60 for another giant expansion that rivals vanilla destiny it would be worth it to me. If I have to put out another dollar this year for it, I would quit the game and go play something else. It also isn't about what I can and can't afford. It's about how much I'm willing to put up to one franchise that continues to give me diminishing returns.

I thought I'd try Destiny, again and get ttk. It's downloaded, and I've had all day off, but I haven't touched it. I did play a little patrol on Earth, but quickly turned it off. Not because I didn't like it, but I had shit to do. I'm chilling right now watching the news, when I could be playing. After so long of downtime from it, I find it hard to go back. Idk why, but it feels like I kicked a drug habit, and don't want it, anymore. Hopefully, it will change. I do miss gaming....

2 답변I would agree that it isn't worth the price if you are content waiting... 2/3 the cost of vanilla with less than 1/2 the content.

작성자: TimboLextown 9/16/2015 10:44:14 PMI was SUPER skeptical going in but I ran the whole story campaign solo with my hunter last night, and the missions were actually some of the best yet. The story is better and they've mixed up the gameplay (no bullet-sponge bosses). I ran Necrochasm pretty much the whole time and it's a beast in TTK missions. I haven't tried any of the PvP stuff yet, though. The Hunter Nightstalker subclass is dope. Looking forward to trying out the new titan and warlock subclasses tonight, and then the raid when it drops. Just my two cents but I'm really enjoying it so far. HOWEVER, the fact that new green guns/armor outclass old raid gear, legendaries and exotics is -blam!-ing lame. You're basically starting over.

4 답변It's ok, but still not quite there yet. The new legendary armor system is stupid and VoG, CE and PoE are all OBSOLETE! With TTK we actually have less of a game.
