Shotguns and pulse rifles rule now... No diversity or anything. Why are people so obsessed with just using whatever is the most op, rather than what is fun to use?

I've seen plenty of diverstiy since the patch. Ars, pulse, scout, and handcannon all showing up. Still lots of shotties, but some of the more open maps are seeing sniper use. Nothing is ever going to perfect. Unless of course you want the guns to have all the same stats. Is it perfect? No, but more than ever it feels like right gun, for the right situation.

I'm 100% positive that if I took stats of the next ten games I played and what weapons everyone was using I would see a relatively equal (partially skewed towards pulse rifles) number of ARs, scouts, and pulses, as well as an equal number of shotguns and snipers with some fusion rifles. So, in comparison the crucible now has a total of about 5 or 6 archetypes (those listed above) that are all viable options whereas before you saw 3 completely dominant archetypes (hand cannons, shotguns, and snipers) with a few people using pulse and scout. Conclusion: pvp is way more balanced so stop your bitching

This will all be changing next week anyways, so there is nothing to get upset over about the predominant style of play in crucible for THIS week. Granted I still expect that Pulse rifles will be a go-to, but the other options are nearly as unuseable, not to the extent that non-thorn/TLW options used to be.

작성자: EMPYREAL92 9/13/2015 1:46:39 PMCrucible is 10 times better now. Time to kill is alot longer so you actually have time to have a decent battle with someone and try and out gun them, supers charge slower so no more bladedancers running round the whole game. Pulse rifles rule the crucible now which is a refreshing change.

1 답변This was such a huge swing and miss by bungie it's frustrating. Not only did they somehow make shotguns stronger but they pushed assult rifles into close range. Where you might as well use a shotgun or handcannons Honstely I want the name of the guy who thought assult rifles are cqc so I can ask to here his logic.. what the -blam!- is going on in that office lol

I can guarantee if they didn't hit Hand Cannons as ridiculously hard as they did, you'd be seeing much more diversity. As much as people bitch on and on about how much they hated Thorn and The Last Word and how the crucible is now a magical wonderland of happiness (not true), you can't deny that Hand Cannons in general desperately need buffing back up a bit. They've been knocked down way too hard.

1 답변Bungie nerfed supers, so Bad Juju is king. Bungie nerfed Thorn, so there's no competition. Now, the entire community will cry for a Juju nerf next. SMH

It's funny cause all you donkeys were so excited about dusting off all those old auto rifles. Well guess what if you're trash you're trash and if you have to rely on gun balancing to be better with weapons then you're extra trash. I love pooping on all you stoops running around with your hard lights or necrochasms.

6 답변Uh... Shotguns don't dominate, they actually take skill to use now. For the last week before this update, I got a matador with perfect perks. Used it, felt super cheesy, then I tried blink. Dear Lord. Now that they have a large damage drop off, you have to get real close to the target, especially now that shot package was nerfed. I've seen tons of Sniping and Fusion rifles. I've also seen people use autorifles, not as a joke now. They made everything good now. But in any game with half way decent PvP, there's going I be a meta.
