Shotguns and pulse rifles rule now... No diversity or anything. Why are people so obsessed with just using whatever is the most op, rather than what is fun to use?

Everything kills properly now. It's all about range control for your load out. It makes map awareness even more important. Gotta know when to bail on a 1v1 when you're not in the sweet spot range on whatever you have equipped. Pulse rifles have been monsters for quite some time. Now w hand cannons not being able to compete at the longish mid range, pulse rifles wreck shit really well. And still most people don't use the strangers rifle. Top 5 guns in pvp, not in any particular order: strangers rifle, all fate, hopscotch, red death, bad juju. I prefer to run the purples so I can obliterate people w truth and gjally. I think the three purples I mentioned also perform better in pvp than the two exotics. But the healing perk on red death is still big, and BJJ's super regen perk has always been great. It hits harder now.

If other people are fighting you with brass knuckles, you should use them also. Many of us have said thorn will just be replaced with something else and pulse rifles are that something else. The minute fusion rifle s go back to being better than shot guns, that's all we will see

Pulse rifles are built for the map sizes best. All the weapons are best at their own ranges. It's just medium to kinda long is the most important range. Only red death and messenger seem kinda op. Not like thorn and last word were though.

I tried different loadouts but ended up back with the handcanon shotty combo. It still feels the best and most comfortable for me. The ttk takes another shot in most cases but everything is slow ttk so it really doesn't matter.

작성자: TheFishE77 9/13/2015 2:41:37 PMFunny that someone with the profile name "Necrochasm" apparently hasn't seen how many people use that gun in Crucible these days. I've used pulse rifles in there since well before patch, and if anything I see less of them now that Hopscotch got nerfed. I've been seeing a huge variety of AR's, people dusting off the old Shadow Price or Suros to the others going ham with a Black Suros CGB or Silvered Hushwind. As for secondary, it's not all just Felwinter's Sniper or Matador, lots of different fusions and snipers. Really, after reading your post I'd suggest actually playing Crucible, since it doesn't sound like you actually have post-2.0 patch.

I don't know what you're complaining about the last time i played crucible I was mostly killed by Scouts, Fusion Rifles, and people still trying to make Thorn work. Lots of Midas and I like it. I've always used pulse as my main.

Pocket Infinity This gun is actually the best fusion rifle I've ever used. Charge it up once, then spray the life out of the enemy. It gets tons of ammo from special packs, usually 8 when wearing stuff with extra special or fusion ammo, so you rarely run out of ammo. Also, you know how they buffed the mulligan perk to make it better? It also works for pocket infinity. It seems to proc on almost half of the missed bursts now. I promise you, pocket infinity is a beast, give it a try and see if you like it.

I've seen plenty of diverstiy since the patch. Ars, pulse, scout, and handcannon all showing up. Still lots of shotties, but some of the more open maps are seeing sniper use. Nothing is ever going to perfect. Unless of course you want the guns to have all the same stats. Is it perfect? No, but more than ever it feels like right gun, for the right situation.
