It's not even fun now.
I loved Destiny.
I skipped homework, social life, anything so long as I was playing Destiny.
(I've always been socially awkward and I'm an honor student by nature xD)
I thought 2.0 would be awesome. I expected shotgun nerf, Defender buff, thorn and Gjallarhorn nerfs...things to even out a little. I was reluctant for the changes, but I knew they were coming.
But then I played PVP in 2.0.
In 1.0 I wasn't the worst at PVP. I was usually around the top or MVP, and I had my bad times, but I was decent, and it was SO much fun for me.
I used to run shotgun and auto rifle, but switched to a sniper and hand cannon. I practiced day and night and got pretty good at sniping.
Then I entered 2.0.
It's SO hard to snipe now. With auto rifles everywhere and the gameplay becoming even MORE fast-paced, I get happy over landing 2 successful head shots in a row! Shotguns are just ridiculous, even more now. I can't even begin...
My radar is useless.
My ammo is useless.
I'M useless.
I wasn't one to rely on TLW or Thorn or Ice Breaker or Spear....none of that.
In fact, I usually ran with Low - grade Humility/Violator, and Messenger (Ash Factory too).
Now I am horrible in PVP.
I get 4 kills in a match.
It's humiliating.
I was decent, and now I'm horrible.
I think I'll focus on school now.

1 답변작성자: Bicepus Maximus 10/21/2015 11:20:46 PMBalance does mean you are good at pvp. I can only assume you are a Huntard. A lot of the problem stems from your easy mode low skill cap class. The devs balanced a few things in pvp. I suggest you quit. You have relied on easy mode for a long time.

It's a new "meta" you are going to have to get used to it. A lot more weapon types are viable right now and I for one love that I do t see tlw and thorn every time. I would like to see shotguns nurfed into the ground but they are not as good as they once were.

I agree shotguns seem even worse. Auto rifles are now the norm in crucible, they op'd the strangers rifle now. But I assume it'll all be patched up months from now. It takes a while before things start looking up sadly. Though that time they'll be adding more to the game and we'll be right back in the same boat. Love it or hate it, if you play legit, we share the same pain

2 답변It's gonna be real bad at first. It was same way when this game launched. For some reason the carnival (bungie&activison) just can not balance this game. Pvp was never good. I been gaming for long time so ill get mine for sure. But destiny has been terrible with patches to weapons. The only way it can be fixed now is separate weapons. Ok carnival this next little bit is for you. Make crucible weapons. That can only be used in crucible. Allow us to change perks. Or make perks specific to weather gun is used in pve or pvp. Since its beyond your game developers skill. And to everyone else be patient and forget about how good you do and focus on your own skill. Adapt learn and progress. Crouch in gun fights. Not to fast. Just enough to dodge headshots and stand back up once shooter compensates. This takes time to learn. And timing is key. If you can do this it should help with your trouble.

2 답변That first sentence was enough to read right there. The game is fun and all that, man, but it pales in comparison to leveling up in real life. Play it if you like it, but irl you can get skills and stats that can't get nerfed.

Git gud.. true crucible players adapted to all styles in destiny crucible. I been through week one, and always loved crucible, loved recking with my auto rifle when it first came out, then to pulse then to hand cannon, thorn ect. I have always been a pulse rifle guy at hart but now I'm loving the messenger still having 3392 kills with shot gun along the way of this great journey
