It's called having compassion, even if you don't know someone you should at least feel something as a human being when something horrible happens to people especially on that scale. It's not cool that the Towers were taken down, it's not cool that people choked to death on dense thick black smoke, it's not cool that some of them were burned alive, it's not cool that some people jumped to their deaths, recorded in history for the world to see. It's not cool that people were crushed to death, or had lasting damage done to them from other injuries including years after the towers fell. It's not cool that firefighters gave their lives to save people, though heroic as they are it still wasn't fair on them. And those that had to clean through the debris of the dead and buried. That's not cool either. I just don't understand why people would think it's clever or edgy to joke about that shit. I was 14 when it happened all those years ago and for a month after, at least, there was a great sadness that hung over everyone. I know there was way more respect than what kids show nowadays about the events. It was something that solidified us as a generation. I suppose though kids don't have all that now, to busy trying to be funny guys over dead people.

Imagine this, you wake up on Tuesday morning, your mom already left for work, so did your dad, your brother and sister too. Your mom has a job on the 99th floor of tower 1. Or maybe Dads a fireman. Or maybe Your sister is a chef at the restaurant, or maybe your brother manages the hotel across the street. Your friend calls you and says... "Holy shit, turn on the TV, some terrorist just flew two planes into the twin towers". You try to call your mom, or dad, or sister, or brother. Phones are down, no-one can get through. Maybe it takes a day it two to find out everyone's ok. Maybe you never hear from your mom or dad or sister or brother ever again. Maybe it takes years for your family to even have a funeral because that's how long it took to figure out some DNA they found belonged to your brother. Long time ago? Not at all. Here in NYC, especially at this time of year, the entire city of millions and millions of people reflect and remember where they were, who they were with, and what unfolded those early morning hours, and days, weeks, months, and years. So before you go joking about events like this, think about waking up one morning and never getting to say good bye to your dad or mom or brother or sister or wife or son or daughter, ever again, because they're gone.

Really I love having fun and making jokes but come on if you even try to make a joke about a day where thousands died your a flat out B!TCH Joking or not it's not ok and its a good way to get your ass kicked if the right person sees this

5 답변I would encourage anybody foreign or domestic to go into any pub, especially in New York, and tell the joke. Then you can see then sense of humor posted on every persons face. It is hard to find an bar here without somebody directly affected by that tragedy, and I am sure the warm welcome you receive will be greatly deserved. Some things are not meant to be joked about, and your lack of compassion towards the many many families that had to endure the loss of their loved ones sickens me. Some of which are on this forum reading your blatant ignorant disrespect. Troll and hate this all you want I will not revisit this thread. And hope in all decency that it is removed.
