I just don't get it. What is so great about drinking below the legal age? I am a junior and see nothing good about it. You drink and drive, you get into an accident. You drink, you end up in bed with someone who may have a STD. You drink, you pass out and feel like shit the next morning? Just, why? I hate being a teenager because I've never felt interested in activities like smoking, drinking, etc. But a lot of other people do it. Not all of them are bad people. Some of them are actually really nice. But because of this lifestyle that could get me in trouble if I associate with them outside of school, I couldn't play the card. My parents would also be disappointed. What's so great about it? Please tell me.

If you mean Alcohol, then it's because that's how people get with the in-crowd: by doing what they do. Everybody spreads it around like it's some godly thing to do, and yet any fool can grab a bottle of Smirnoff or Jack and get pissed. It's the stupid teen mentality that you have to do stupid shit that every other moron does, regardless of the repercussions. It's sickening and pathetic.

2 답변It's teens trying to show they are adults. It's basically a rebellion to show society they want to be recognised as adults.

1 답변Well for starters, the brain isn't fully developed until age 21 (also is the reason why you can't drink under 21) and because of this, the decision making area of your brain isn't fully developed. They fall into peer pressure or they think it's cool or whatever and they don't see it as being bad.

17 답변I used to throw these awesome parties while I was in high school and there'd be at least 40 people there at all times. All under age, all drinking, all doing other things but all having a good time. No one drove home drunk, there wasn't enough privacy with that many people to end up together (except for my boyfriend and I who had access to my room lol). If they weren't being picked up by parents or siblings then they were sleeping on my floor or wherever they passed out. It was good fun, everyone remembers them as an awesome part of their teenage years and years after moving out I still get messages inviting me to parties and asking if I'll ever have any more. I haven't lived in that house for two years lol point is, some people can do it and want to do it underage because they can handle it and it can be fun.

Alcohol gives you a sensation of reward. In other words, it makes you feel very good. They say it's the same feeling as receiving a large gift. Just extended. That paired with the curiosity. Adults do it 24/7. Why don't you want to is kind of the bigger question. The law has no morality to it. It's not like your a bad person if you break the law. Those rules have been made by a select few people to be enforced on everyone. Does that sound fair to you? Live a little bit. Make your own opinion from experience.

Dude, partying is just something us adults do....some teenagers just find out about partying a bit earlier. Although it's true God did not create us all equal and what I mean by that is that there Shure can be a few morons out there who are just slightly above retard when they drink.
i know from personal expiriance in the past
I'm 24, drink almost every day. Not to get drunk, just because there's nothing better than drinking. One day hopefully you'll understand that a nice ice cold beer = heaven. In high school my friends and I drank all the time. I suggest at least drinking a little bit before you go to college or you're going to have a difficult time adjusting to the college lifestyle.

Because it's great. I drink frequently and just like having a good time. I didn't start really drinking until 20, but every day was pretty much a party. Get up, go to work, come home, get drunk with the guys, party, wake up with no memory of getting in bed with this chick, rinse and repeat.

작성자: ResonantParoxysm 9/12/2015 3:09:37 AMIts better to just ask why people drink in general. Alcohol relaxes your body and eases your mind. You are thinking of all of the negative connotations that go with drinking but to be honest it can be a good thing for every now and then if you are responsible about it. There's nothing wrong with drinking a little with some friends to share some laughs or party just a little bit. You don't want to be the person who gets wasted all the time though, it doesn't pay off at all (puking, hangovers, thinking you're only awesome when you're drunk). It can also take the stress out of a situation if that's what you need a little bit of. Teenagers drink because they want to have fun but most of them end up going overboard and although it makes for some funny memories to share later on in life, it can get dangerous. Its rebellious and illegal so only the cool trouble makers are the ones who do it. But hey, all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy so people should enjoy themselves but they shouldn't let themselves get out of control.
