Ghost's new voice.... Uh
Does anyone find it hard to get used to the new ghost voice. So far I'm not liking it. Thoughts?

1 답변Dinklage didn't do a very good job in destiny... his voice was too bland throughout the story..

2 답변I had no problem with the transition. Dinklage was absent for the DLC anyway, and anywhere he talks is easy shit anyway (stories/strikes), so I don't even have the sound on for those. I liked Dinklage more, but that's a product of liking the actor, not the acting. North certainly acts better in this role, and I don't mind the lighter voice. Most people are just being critical because they don't like change.

Dinklebot was shit, this guy is shit, anyone else would be shit. The reason: terribly written dialogue. One thing I will say for Northatron, he is a more professional voice actor and it shows in his performance but Dinklebot played it tongue in cheek which, for me, works out better.

Just played through the entire story and Nolandroid puts more energy into it than Dinklebot ever did. I like to think of ghosts as being similar to an A.I. unit. They are smart yet not all knowing and can have separate personalities. Hell, even Nolandroid is curious as to whether or not Ikora gives ghosts hugs.

1 답변There are a few lines that bother me. Guardian down! We've woken the hive! Others are great. I started the story again with another Titan and so far he has been pretty good imo.

I think the main problem we have with the new ghost voice is simply the fact that over year one we got used to our dinklebots and now it's all changed and the voice is very different, I think we should just give it a chance because there's likely to be quite a lot of new lines for ghost in ttk that we have yet to hear and actually imo some if not most of the re-voiced lines actually sound better

North is pretty good I was ok with dinklebot. to me it doesn't matter much. It seems to me that you guys love complaining. Hell if there's anything I've learned from peopl in this forum is that they love complaining. There's feedback and there's complaining everyone here does a little too much of the latter.

1 답변Love it. The way he says the lines now makes it sound like he's actually talking to you instead of at you all the time. I never understood how my little ghost bitch that could only open doors thought he could order me around instead of talking to me like a person. Love the new voice-over.

6 답변I don't care how many things North has been a part of. Bungie could have used ANYONE other than this high-pitched little puff ball of a ghost. He has too much of the wrong emotion. Also, he doesn't make you feel like a legend like Dinklebot. Just highly disappointed.

1 답변The old voice was better, [i]barely.[/i] However I prefer the new one because now we won't have to tolerate DLC packs with zero Ghost dialogue because they couldn't get the voice actor back...
