I tried to download the update yesterday (Xbox 360) and I made it to compatibility pack 5 in about an hour and it stopped at 35%. I restarted it, cleared the cache and even restarted both the Xbox and my internet and it was still stuck at 35. I then deleted the download hoping it would start over from the beginning, which it did but it never moved past 1%! Also every time I go to delete the download now it says I'm downloading a title update instead of pack 5 but if I press resume download it starts pack 5 again. I really don't want to delete the whole game or anything but I don't know what to do now. Please help so I'll be able to play before the taken king comes out!

I FIXED THE BOAR ERROR CODE!!! What you do is go to your system settings. Storage. Hard drive. And delete the compatibility packs. Then restart the update. That's for Xbox btw. But if it worked, comment and tell me.

This is getting really irritating, its been a couple a days since this stupid 2.0 released and i cant, never have, cant even get past the character select screen. It freezes the XboxOne and resets the system. Bunch of other games run fine. Ive factory reset everything console and router, delete my profile, DNS server, everything under the sun. Cleared cache, cleared persistent storage, Downloaded the game with dlc, and update in different orders, across 3 different hard drives and still the same thing. Does anyone that works at Bungie that comes across this post have any idea what the hells wrong. Ive deleted the app on my phone, updated it. Forwarded xbox ports, cd's not scratched, Xbox connection is perfect and wired as always, No NAT issues, and never had any. I am a Xbox preview member, and so are a few of my friends and their Destiny works fine. This is just stupid with TTK around the corner, and if 2.0 is the only patch for now, what am I suppose to wait forever hoping the next fixes this and makes my game playable?

PS3 player here. I am suffering because of weak internet. From a study of the organization called ASEAN, the Philippines has the weakest internet speed at 3.6 mbps. The strongest internet speed is in Singapore at 65 mbps. I have been living in the Philippines since birth, so I am a Filipino. Now this is off-topic, but the following has this involving my issue. Now back to my issue: My issue with downloading the patch is first downloading it through my PS3. It only stops at 0.0000...% because of how slow it is. So I always receive errors in downloading the patch. It was the same for downloading update patches for Gran Turismo 6, a PS3-exclusive racing game. Because of the network connections to the server, I get corrupted game data. So I fear that I will get the same thing when I download Patch 2.0. I can blame my weak internet subscription for this mainly, not the game! I tried deleting game data and save data from games that I no longer play, including free PSN games. But the same issue persists. Meaning, that didn't work either! Am I gonna be one of many Guardians remaining off-duty, i.e. my Destiny game data not updated in order for me to play Destiny? I thrill for the Shared World Shooter environment with all of you Guardians and the people who have helped us (the NPCs). I hunger for the knowledge of the lore of this world (the planets in Destiny, the Guardian gear and equipment, the Ghost, the people, the Traveler, the Darkness, the minions of the Darkness, etc.) through the Grimoire cards I get. I thrill to be a team player. The only things I haven't done are beating Skolas in the Prison of Elders and use voice communications like some of my fellow Guardians I befriended do so that I can have a true mutual understanding with other Guardians! May the Traveler's Light be with me in this Darkness Zone I call weak internet!

I have a insane issue. While I was updating the game my wifi crashed. I was on expansion pack part 5. And it won't let me download it now. It says that there is a error code boar. And I read the trouble shooting and there is no way for me to plug my Xbox to my wifi. I deleted the part 5 thing in my active downloads and it still won't load. It freezes, then shows the error code. I mine as well throw this game in the trash cause I don't think I can fix this. Not like this game is bad, but I can't get the required update. If I delete the game and reinstall it, will I have to do it from the very beginning?!?

My xbox one has been trying to download the 2.0 update since it dropped. It has froze everyday at about 30% I have waited each time, paused resumed, messed with my connection (which is stable running 9.8 Mbps cable), played with dns settings, everything suggested by others. I've even uninstalled and reinstalled the game to no avail. Here we are again for the third time stuck 24 hours into this update frozen for hours and im sick of this and bungies lack of response to the issues THAT ACTUALLY MATTER.

BUNGIE! Why is the data for destiny CORRUPT when i download the digital copy!!!!!!

Would love to be able to actually play. Any word on why the downloads are getting stuck on us?

Hello. Every time I try to download the patch 1.13 immediately my system says "an error has occurred during the download process operations (800233EF). I called my provider, reseted my system, changed router and ps3 settings and nothing. Anybody else has this problem or found a solution? I live in south America if that makes a difference. Thanks.

Ps3 with 600+ gb hard drive I have Been trying to install 2.0 for 3 days now. It download but it gets to 2% and I get an error. I see I'm not the only so bungie plz fix because I have enough memory to install.

Xbox One player, tried everything anyone has suggested and some things I thought of myself to no avail. Download gets stuck (read stuck, not slow but not moving at all) at differing percentages depending on method of installation (installing entire game online with updates, installing offline then updating, installing just 2.0). If I were to open the game there would be a copying data circle stuck at either 52 or 53%. Checking my bandwidth usage shows normal usage (a few gigs and hour) until all the non-2.0 updates are downloaded at which point incoming bandwidth drops to a few megabytes an hour and the download freezes. I seriously just want to play Destiny again and know that the $40 I spent hours before 2.0 was released wasn't a complete waste. If it's on Bungie or Microsoft's end I don't care as long as they keep us informed and have it fixed as soon as possible (a few days, a week or two if necessary, I won't care as long as we know). If it's on my end I just want to know what to do to fix it.

I owned this game (Destiny) on disc (PS4), paid and played for both TDB, and HoW. Here comes patch 2.0 for TTK, and my PS4 updates like a good boy while I am in rest mode. The first download took almost 24 hours. I log in, game gets the little 9 Mb update, and crashes. I close the app, get error code (CE-34878-0) and try again. This time it goes to a verifying content screen. gets to 2% and crashes. Repeat the process, about 3-4 more times and it just crashes with the same error code above... I then proceed to delete Destiny and download it all again from the disc. SAME THING. I delete and download again. 3RD TIME downloading. SAME THING. So, i presume my disc is wack. THEN I BUY THE TTK 60$ PRE ORDER DOWNLOAD on the PSN Store and WAIT again.... It downloads, all updates go smooth, i open the game app, it gets the weak little 9Mb patch again and crashes. GAME FILES CORRUPT, PLEASE DELETE AND RE-DOWNLOAD. I got the shit straight from the PSN store, and IT STILL DOESNT EVEN REMOTELY FUNCTION AT ALL. Completely broken Bungie. SO, now I have paid 95+ dollars for the game on disc ad the first two DLC's AND 60$ MORE for a digital copy of the game I already owned that DOES NOT WORK. It cant even get to character selection screen! Bungie... You seriously have let me down with this. 165$ for something that doesn't exist. Ive been a player since literally day one and have put well over 1000+ hours into this little activision love child of yours and this is the thanks I get?!
