What are your opinions on grimoire?
I'm looking for your honest opinions about grimoire score, and to start up an intelligent conversation. Trolls and ignorant people will not get any response from me, and I ask that others do not respond to them as well. They thrive on responses, so let their post die with them.
I am personally addicted to getting a high grimoire score. Yes, it's a lot of grinding but it is also a goal to achieve. The only points I currently have left to acquire are in pvp, which is not my strongest aspect.
I am also disappointed that the score has been removed from your emblem and is now located in the character screen. I can understand that the light level will be important to see but after a month or so, in my opinion, everyone will have the same title card... Level 40/Light Level (insert max number here).
Feel free to discuss what you are missing or if it's something you enjoy going after. Also if you think it's pointless, explain why. I'm not looking for answers like "it's stupid". I will try to respond to everyone that replies (besides trolls), it's the least I could do since you replied to my original post.

Also most of it should be unlocked by playing through the campaign once. If we all had access to more of the lore maybe the community would be more interested in it.

Grimoire is a nice read but should have been implemented into the game. So many great patrols could have been created from it, or more story missions. Well, we all know now what kind of drastic changes happened behind closed doors at Bungie. Marty just slammed open their skeleton closet. As they are now, they're a poor judge of skill. They merely show how much time a person has sunk into the game.

2 답변Grimoire as a tool for judging people's abilities is useless. The only time I would ever check it is if I am out on patrol or in a shared environment and I see a low level player, if they have a low grimoire I assume they're new and I'll just back them up if there's a public event or they seem to be struggling. Other than that I couldn't care less, I'll play with people regardless of what their grimoire score says.

Personally, I think near max/max grimoire means they can't be too bad. At least then I know they've completed all/most of the PvP wins cards. Otherwise it's hard to tell whether they just did a lot of ghost hunting and enemy farming.

1 답변Experience means something in my opinion. Higher grimoire means more experience and knowledge which is always good.

5 답변I personally don't care about the score itself. Great for lore but if I see someone with a lower score, I'll ask if they done the specific challenge and see if they need help with it.

2 답변Not impressed they got rid of grimoire on the emblems they should have given max Grimmy players a special emblem.

2 답변I feel the same way mate. High grim score shows an experienced player. It was easy to judge people from the grim score on the emblem

At this current moment in time, I need to go in and get the ghost on the last pillar in the abyss. Haven't bothered. Tomorrow will bring another 1000pts of grim to chase. Happy hunting to the rest of the OCD clan. ;) Edit: high grim = OCD, max grim = severe OCD. Lol. Makes fun of self.

작성자: uptownsmoothest 9/15/2015 1:27:15 AMIt's garbage and means nothing. Just have no life and play the game a lot. Takes no skill whatsoever. I can care less because I'm more PVP. Other wise I can just patrol each planet - kill this type of enemy - this amount of time - with this weapon.
