How is destiny supposed to expand for 10 years while still trying to support technology from 2004
This game should not have been released for last gen. Supporting last gen might play a big role in determining how much content we get out of expansions, which currently is very lackluster.

Not sure that destiny will be supported on the old gen consoles over the ten year plan. There hasn't been a mention of it, look at Halo, the newest incarnation of that has dropped 360 support. The game will be supported for ten years, so expect Destiny 3 on Xbox 2 and PS5!

4 답변And this ladies and gentlemen, is the appearance if the wild hypocrite! It claims to want to be un-held back and to be "next gen", but on consoles. Any gamer worth their stuff knows that to be actually pushing the envelope it needs to be pc, but instead it wants the master pieces cut down so its "next gen" consoles can handle it! For shame.

I'll just leave it at that. It's pure common since to release for last gen when they did. I know a lot of people that can't afford a $400 console because of life. Bungie knows this. Other companies know this. This player base though... When prices drop and more players have next gen, Bungie will cut them off. When could this happen? I don't know. Maybe a year or two in the future when they have Destiny 2.

1 답변They're probably dropping it soon. If you recall they did the promo for a free next gen copy of the game if you bought they old gen. They just wanted more people on board. They can't support last gen forever.

2 답변They will stop supporting it as soon as Microsoft and Sony stop supporting their old gen systems. Until then there is no point to shut out a large amount of customers.

34 답변The franchise is supposed to last ten years but at some point we're getting a second game and hopefully that will by current gen only.
