Praise Weapon Patch 2.0!!!
I'd like to take a moment to say goodbye to the following:
Scrubs who pre-fire for[b] final round[/b], and roll bonus ammo on spawn perks. You're scum.
Every person running [b]proximity rocks[/b] that fires blindly and get a detonation kill from 25 feet away via blast radius. You should actually have to aim your rockets.
Every bad kid who uses thorn because he gets postmortem DOT damage kills.
All the people that receive 111 head-shot damage while aiming The Last Word.
Trashy kids using Shot-package sniper shotguns.
Edit* Yes I use last word, thorn, blink shotty, and proximity max velocity/blast radius rockets. As a super tryhard, I sport over a 90% win loss with a 2.0k/d. I rarely lose, and this update is so overdue.
Edit* in a few hours it'll be less than a day until the thorn, last word, final round, will all be a thing of the past.
Bungie, it took you long enough. Next stop: stop ROTATING playlists. It's retarded, and nobody likes it.
I'll see you all in the crucible - can't wait to see what you do without your crutch :D

2 답변I can understand this sort of tone from an average player like me, but your stats are really solid, so I do not understand why you feel the need to even comment about something like this. Even though hand cannons are getting a nerf, something else will take it's place. It still won't impact your game, so again, why bring it up? Also, I don't see anything wrong with being practical either. Using the most effective weapons is only common sense, and good players do it as well as bad players. I use last word but recently I have started using red death, mostly because I am just bored with using the last word.

3 답변None of this matters anyway. You don't have fire fights with the gun you have them with player using the gun. The good people will still be good. Denial is being cruel to a lot of you guys. Time will tell. day 1 players who have played pvp early on and through out know better. It'll be a month tops and the forums will be screaming about nerfing something else. Lol

2 답변I agree. As someone with an even better kd (well over 2.0 on all THREE characters), I just want more balance and less abusing of weapons and abilities. Along with this shotty nerf, I'm honestly hoping they do something with blink, it makes sweaties kind of dumb. Does anyone know exactly what date this patch will drop? And if they've confirmed if they are doing anything to blink and what?

3 답변I'm one of those people who uses the Last Word. I like to use whatever the meta of the game is. When TTK is out and a Meta is found. I will then use that. Hopefully Old Betsy(Suros Regime) can kick some ass again!

Show us a screen cap of your Latency from your XBox/PS4 or your 2.0 k/d means nothing. If it's always 50ms or below, you have my respect. Over 200 and you're part of the real issue, lag. Lag compensation and lag switching are equally offensive to me and it's worse when someone thinks their good because they use a $5 mobile broadband connection to play. Prove you do neither, or you're just another derper who's at the top of the board in points and has the only red bar. I've played with these guys as fire team lead and it made the whole game like being in matrix bullet-time. I wrekt, of course. But with the best low latency setting, I lose every shotgun exchange. TTK (time to kill) and espescially reaction times mean f--k-all in this game when they don't matchmake based on ping/latency.

3 답변Lol at some of these replies. People are down playing hard the performance using a better weapon gives you in this game. It isn't CoD where all the guns are mostly the same and everything kills in the same time frame Try using a non high range impact shotgun vs Felwinter, PC, etc. Try using auto rifles right now against thorns and last word. Do those, and then come back and act like the weapons don't matter. Currently the gap between the best guns and the rest is way too wide. If people move to the next best, that's perfectly fine. The game is still better off without the stupidly large gap in weapon tiers.
