After 13 years of smoking cigarettes I have picked up my first quality e cig. After seeing my buddy who smoked over a pack a day (im a half pack a day) stopped smoking for two weeks by using a vape. Im day two and although very early in the game im feelin good.
Anyone else do the same thing?
Edit: So to be clear I am NOT 13 years old. I am 30 and been smoking cigarettes FOR 13 years and am now trying to quit with the help of vaping.

12 답변E cigs deliver nicotine more effectively so they are MORE addictive; they also have WORSE UNTESTED chemicals mixed in to bind the nicotine to the vapor than cigarettes. Nicotine IS a neurotoxin you CAN overdose and die from and if you smoke an e cig FAST enough YOU can die from just the nicotine content.

5 답변E cigs have been proven to be worse than regular cigarettes, as they have far more chemicals.

2 답변It's good that you stopped smoking cigarettes but vaping is like the mouth equivalent to the fedora.

14 답변Good luck brotha. I quit a 5 year chewing tobacco addiction with vaping. My best advice to you is to not get those cheap gas station e-cigs. You will not be satisfied. Get an actual e-cig that you can refill and choose the flavor. A solid kit with a battery and a tank costs like $30, and the coils (replace them every two weeks or when the vape tastes dry.) Pick a juice you really like and go with it (I went with a blueberry). Here's some advice on the juice, it's a very wide topic, and if you don't get a good juice for your preferences, you are more than likely going to find the experience less satisfying than smoking, but if you do, well it may just become a new, healthier hobby instead of just a way to quit. If you were an everyday smoker I recommend a 12 mg or a 6 mg juice. These are levels of nicotine in a juice, it goes up to 24 mg, but that's some really harsh shit. I'm not sure how verse you are in the subject so I'm going to explain how the juice works. Commonly, juices you will find are a 50 vg / 50 pg mix. This means the juice's base is half vegetable glycerin and half propylene glycol. However, different venders do different mixes, right now I'm vaping a 100 vg / 0 pg juice. Now the difference: Higher Vg- richer flavor, thicker clouds on the exhale Higher Pg- tighter throat hit (good for quitting), less clouds, still good flavor, but not as rich as a higher Vg Now what this means is, if you have a high PG juice, you can go with having a lower nicotine level because you'll be getting more of that throat hit sensation while still getting the nicotine to calm the cravings. If you have a high VG, the throat hit will be looser and you might want to up the nicotine level to counter balance this. Also, warnings about both: PG, while not unhealthy for you, has been known to give some people headaches. Don't worry, it's not the vape killing your brain, there is a documented medical reaction some people get when they interact with PG. It's like a sneeze when a room has a lot of pet hair. In the case that PG gives you a headache, you can get max VG juices to eliminate this problem. It's not a very common problem, so I wouldn't really stress about it. VG makes juices thicker. The way a vape works is a coil surrounded by soaked cotton heats up hot enough to vaporize the liquid in the cotton without combustion. So if you are steady vaping with a very high VG juice in a tank, you can dry out your cotton and get a dry hit if you hit it too often, because of how thick the juice is. This is really a non issue, unless you are constantly hitting your vape.
