Before I begin -
I have a 2.0k/d, 91% win/loss...95% win loss in skirmish, doubles, and trials of osiris.
If anything I'm "qualified" to discuss pvp successes and pitfalls.
So onto my point - weapon rolling. Terrible idea. All you have done is saturate the crucible with the most OP guns.
Every kids loadout:
Primary:
TLW, or Thorn.
Sniper
-hidden hand
-shortgaze
-snapshot
-bonus ammo perk
Or
Shotgun
-shot package
-knee pads
-aggresive ballistics
-reinforced barrell / smallbore
Or
Hammer forged ( OG actually earned )
Rockets
-javelin
-warhead vaniers
-proximity
-clown cartridge/3 tube
You then make every vendor in the game sell a proximity rocket...So even if you're retarded you still get the ultimate handicap perk.
You sell felwinters (almost) perfectly rolled.
Instead of the select few thousand people with overpowered guns you force them on people.
Why??? You make crucible unbearable, and it's all in the name of supporting retarded casuals.
Edit*** will people still be able to roll old HOW weapons?

Re-rolling weapons is not an issue. The actual setup was. If anything, allowing rerolls balanced out competition by giving everyone the chance to acquire a top class weapon instead of a select few lucking out and getting it in drops. While crucible may seem more "fair" in that the lethality of overall weapons isn't as high, the select few who do get them have a major advantage. There's a huge difference between "balance" issues and design flaws, which many people confuse.

2 답변I don't think weapon reforging was a bad idea when it was exclusive to Iron Banner weapons, because those had to be earned and it felt awesome to be able to try for perfect perks setups on them. However, allowing all House of Wolves weapons to be reforged was a huge mistake, and a huge contributing factor to the completely unbalanced meta currently going on in Crucible. This is probably the exact reason that reforging is no longer available for year 2 weapons, and also a big part of the reason that our year 1 legendaries are being left behind. Frankly, I'm okay with that.

Bungie didn't like it because it removed a lot of the "carrot on a stick" aspect. You simply got the weapon you want and then re-rolled until you got the perks you want. I think once I got one weapon with the perfect perks I dismantled every other weapon I picked up afterwards.

1 답변It isn't the rerolling that's broken Its how useless other perks are in comparison to these over used ones.

2 답변Agreed. I also feel slightly qualified to discuss the topic. On to my point though: I don't understand why they take so long to patch the crucible. They obviously know that some weapons are over performing and yet they wait MONTHS to address it.
-
2 답변Everyone having the same over powered guns made the game more balanced. Obviously you don't want people using the same guns you're using.

I agree completely. Destiny is catering to casual players as always. They have NEVER done anything for loyal players. They take away our weapons and gear after a year of grinding. The constantly make Crucible more friendly for low tier players, and Crucible was already made with low tier players in mind. Guaranteed Supers, very OP Shotguns, Heavy, very lethal grenades that are incredibly easy to use. Now we get a playlist with almost constant supers instead of a playlist with more competitive rules? Bungee has no respect for its customers at all. They just want us to throw money at the screen, I mean that is straight from their mouths right?

So what you're saying is that you are no longer one of the thousand or so 'select few' people with massive advantage or the other million or so player base in the game and that's unfair... Doh Kay. I understand your frustration... It's must be difficult to except the fact that you used be able to kick everyone's ass but now that everyone else has the same/similar weapons as you it's more difficult. Here's a suggestion; try practicing more. Once you have gained more skill than everyone else using the same weapons, you will become better. Point being... Guns shouldn't kill guardians, guardians should kill guardians!

10 답변OP counts as the "every kids load out" 5K thorn kills Shotpackage and kneepads equipped on his character Prox rocket Conclusion: OP = fgt
-
5 답변But then if everyone has exactly the same loadout doesn't the game suddenly become about skill?
-
1 답변Before reforging you had to grind for that perfect roll shotgun or whatever, there weren't so many felwinter style shotguns with shotpackage and hammer forged and agressive ballistics because you had to get lucky on a weapon drop
