You clearly dont know what you are talking about... Ive played on 360, and ps4... the amount of people that dont know how to raid is baffling. "Hey guys, since its normal lets do the bridge legit" "I dont know how to do it legit" Or "Should we wipe for oracles?" "No... its just level 30" Some random guy leaves when he gets the gorgon chest Random leaves after ir yut Nobody knows how to use a relic/sword People say "ill just leave cause I dont know how to do the maze" Afk guys not doing anything Troll shoulder charging people off the map The list goes on. Ive raided, a lot... and ive seen people do this. MULTIPLE times! matchmaking for raids would be a burden to those who want to do it, and to those that dont give a crap about you. You join a group, three are in a party and dont care about you, one is afk, and the other os confused... enjoy the raid. Scenarios like that will play out more than you imagine. Look at the inferno skirmish, people just hide and sit down... seriously! Why, because its funny. Just imagine the people that would make sure your raid was as annoying and tedious as possible For the record, the same thing would happen in nightfalls. Have fun carrying two afk guys, or dude who doesnt care to revive you.
