Why would they specifically state "no kids" when the kids should know better than to join? Go play with people your age and maybe you'll understand how the only thing that gets done is getting a headache. Better yet, just quit playing online until you're at least 16.

COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) requires you to receive parental permission to collect any personal information (including email addys) from children under the age of 13. Assuming his parents bought him xbox live and everything required to use it, I would say that he is legally allowed to be online. As long as he doesn't act like a prick and plays the game well, I don't see why adults would have any problem doing a raid with him. They may not add him as a friend or ever speak to him again, but as long as he isn't dragging the team down, why did those [i]adults[/i] have any reason to be so hostile towards him and "Dave" right off the bat?

XBL/PSN also mandates in their EULA that any person under the age of majority to be monitored by a legal guardian anytime that they ar eon the service. In lay terms, an adult has to be sitting next to the child at all times.
