WiFi players
Is there any way to know when someone is playing using wifi, and then have them locked out of the crucible until they get a hard line connection? Would make it better for everyone

I can't get an Ethernet cable directly to my room. There's a single port that isn't being used and its on the other side of the house. I'm not buying a splitter, or getting a new port installed, because I'm not paying more money to improve my already decent connection. I have an extender in the hallway outside my room where my PS4 Is. Full connection, never drops out, the lower connection speed is more than enough to enjoy the game, any sort of streaming, Skype calls etc with comfort. Forcing people to play how you want them to play is a dick move.

2 답변Lmao. I have gigabit Ethernet with an 802.11ac wifi. I probably shit all over your connection. Had 2 buddies over and all 3 of us played ToO on my wifi. Never red barred once - and was the fastest I've ever gone to Mercury with all 3 toons. [spoiler]i think being able to communicate real time instead of using mics was a huge factor[/spoiler]

umm just wanted people to clarify what they are talking about here. I think some people might be confused. wireless vs wifi which are you referring to. wireless as in satellite wifi as in wirelss router, gateway, modem connected to either cable service or Dsl service or if you are lucky enough fiber optic. there is a huge difference.

6 답변Okay dickwad, I only use wifi and it's a solid connection. Having a LAN connection doesn't help. I have heard this neck beard argument before. It's false. It has to do with the stability of your connection. Got lots of friends with LAN connections but shit Internet providers. Wireless has nothing to do with.

My connection speed wireless would eat most people's for breakfast so no I do not need to hard wire it 100mbps upload with around 25download. ping count averages 4-5mms I have a type one connection port forwarded to 443 I bet op is salty because he got dumped on in trials and is mad about it xD

작성자: MirageScythe 8/30/2015 3:39:29 PMspent $600+ total to get. and yes I am wired not wireless 30mbps (cable) less than 45 ms ping to any and all servers in the U.S.A. dual band router capable for running two 100mbps lines in tandem ( that would mean two 5g wireless bands and two standard 2.4 g wireless bands ) multiple techs to come out at the price of $75 a visit to have all settings perfectly set to bungies specifications for my connection and I still get error codes at login and kicked here and there . I have the option to set nat type to open but if I do I end up in redbar lobbies from China Brazil and a few other countries 0-o if I set it to type 2 (moderate) then its fine and acts normal. bungie suggests open but open is worst connection possible. I play 14 other online games and I run them on open and damn they run awesome and I am normally first to load in matches and never get lag on any other games . but bungies servers can kiss my ass , the bungie wants to try and link me to their connection suggestions if I report an error ....... and I'm like b%@ch I already have all those damn suggestions set and saved yet your server kicked me again why ? bungie : ........dead silence . damn tools

5 답변I have my XB1 hard wired, have good connection, yet every single time I host a trials match my bar is red, and it's usually only me, all 5 other players green. I join on another team I'm always green never red.

The problem is in codes and the lag compensation in a peer to peer system, that why you see people blinking like crazy and immortal guys you shot but the system analyzing lag compensation is bad a he wasn't there and you die by a shotgun. I think if you are lagging you should see people blinking and the game should work against you no on your favor like is now But sadly they are not going to fix it, destiny the most successful game in the world right now can effort private servers or at least put some programmers to try to solve the problem
