I know its too late to change it, but I feel like Destiny could have been much much better if they didn't go to Activision with this game.

20 답변So you think Bungie had the money to.make destiny, pay the staff, and most importantly pay for marketing? This game is only so huge and ever growing because of the investment Activision made in bungie. Silly children ;( Always thinking big business is the enemy. Without them you wouldn't have this game...

Bungie had a great idea with Destiny. Unfortunately you can't make it happen without the capitol to fund it. Big business cares nothing about how a project gets done, just how much more cash it puts back into its pocket. Activision is one of the worst offenders for the trend that prevails in games today. However, gamers (myself included) have allowed it to get this way by buying cut content (dlc), "map packs", and micro-transactions in game. CoD is a cash cow and they are using what they learned from it and applying it to all other games. Its sad really, gone are the days when playing games was just a relaxing past time. Now we have a "pay for everything" mentality that is ruining things. I love what Bungie has made and want to see it succeed for the whole 10yr plan.

8 답변At the end of the day we don't know how Activision's involvement impacted destiny. Would destiny have been better without them? Possibly, even though we have been told their agreement gave bungie full creative control, none of us have really seen the full terms of their contact, and it's been suggested many times bungie needed more time with destiny and Activision denied them, forcing them to stick to an unrealistic deadline. However, Activision has put up a lot of money for destiny, it's a huge gaming juggernaut. It's quite possible bungie needed a lot of money, and no one else was willing to put up the money over that long a contract on a risk, at least not without stipulations bungie weren't happy with such as full console exclusivity or less creative control. At the end of the day, it's a moot point, destiny is what it is, Activision or not, and as a community pointing fingers is pointless because we have so little of the actual story.

19 답변Should've stayed with Microsoft. Would have been the best game of 2014 if not one of the best games of all time.
-
7 답변I think they should've stuck with Microsoft. Ever since they've been getting real cozy with Activision and Sony, it hasn't had half the potential it could have for xbox players.

3 답변Activi$ion is slowly turning Destiny into another one of their 50 CoD games. We don't want more, should've stopped at the first one imo

Perhaps AV wasn't their first choice. Perhaps once a contract has reached terms they will move away from them seeing as the gaming world knows Destiny has been successful financially and widely popular. Since release it has been a top 4 played XBOX game every single month. Some months 1st. The last thing most of us deep gamers want is it to further replicate the CoD shit a lot of us have avoided so long. However the issue is Activision has worked their ass off to hang a lure in front of those one track minded type gamers and won alot of their loyalty because of the fps pvp aspect. Ultimately a choice will have to be made. Pvp and PVE will never be equals. And once a side is chosen it'll make a break the franchise.

11 답변작성자: Wolfisaurus 8/28/2015 1:52:48 AMRealistically their choices were EA, Activision or Ubisoft as publishers. EA Microtransactions Grimoire cards can be purchased, traded, auctioned and used to make Destiny Ultimate Fireteam Ubisoft Destiny would have been shown running in 4K at 120 FPS three years ago and still wouldn't be out.

1 답변No. The epic space adventure we were promised was gutted and the game is turning into more and more of a cod clone for angry 10 year olds.
