Not meant to be an elitist thread. Just wondering people's opinions. I think seeing the lighthouse was a legitimate endgame activity. More then getting golden chests... just a thought
Edit: bunch of interesting opinions. Some people seem like elitists, others seem like they just never want to play pvp which is a fine argument. It's not changing now so it doesn't actually matter. Personally I just see it as a critical part of completing everything year 1 had to offer, that's all.

1 답변The fact of the matter is that neither Skolas nor Lighthouse is too difficult. You have to not be an idiot. That's it. So yes, I think it should have been included. Flawless Raider too, for all I care.

4 답변I saw someone else say it should've been kill PoE 35 Skolas or Flawless. Appeal to PVP and PVE players if they happen to do one and not the other
-
Definitely not, I haven't gotten there yet, but it's not like I need to be carried. I can hold my own in the crucible usually, but when you come across a group of people who all use Thorn and long range shotguns, your chances of winning have just diminished by a lot. That leaves a sour taste in my mouth, which is why I've only even tried to go flawless about 3 times, give or take.

Should be based upon grimoire score instead. Lets say 3000, not sure if that's too high or not. Not everyone is a crackshot in pvp or an avid pve player, some are both of course. Or maybe have a seperate pvp, pve and end game raid triumph. This would allow different goals for different player types.

As a player who's been to the lighthouse, had all of the triumphs done before they were announced (except those friggin useless gold chests...), and closing in on max grimoire, it should not be a triumph. There are way too many factors that play into your ability to go flawless that you just might not make it. There's definitely some luck involved, and that shouldn't apply to the moments of triumph. Having 30 grimoire dedicated to it is enough already

작성자: Shank-n-Burn 8/28/2015 8:50:08 PMNo...I have been to the lighthouse but I definitely would not make that a requirememt. I would say a flawless trials or Skolas would be acceptable, but both take good team work and Coordination that way you still make pvp focus as high as pve..plus those of us who have done well in trials have cool ships, shaders, emblem, and guns with ele dmg
-
Not flawless but x amount of wins in trials would have been good. Im against forcing people into PvP. When someone is working on lets say the thorn bounty are they really focused on winning or the team objective.... No just there to complete their bounty. Thats what I did. Not big on PvP. To many issues and 1 hit kills for me.

I think not, because, even though it was part of Year 1, it's very difficult, and most people wouldn't be able to do it. That would then lead to people quitting the game, which isn't what this game needs. The Lighthouse is a reward in itself.
-
I think it should because PvP is a pretty big part of the game. The fact is, collecting golden chests was as easy as watching a couple YouTube videos. The only PvP challenge in the triumphs as it stands now is the 100 wins in Crucible (which I heard was glitched and rewarded a point for each crucible kill). They have all the end-game PvE content as requirements, but not the only end-game PvP content. Just my two cents.

1 답변I feel like it should've been. Or at least a card with 9 wins on it. It's one of the biggest triumphs in Destiny year 1. Of course it would suck for PvE only players, but the same can be said about beating Skolas for PvP players

I see a lot of people saying no for many different reasons but I agree with you, not from an elitist stand point but from a completion standpoint, some comparing it to flawless raider achievement but that isn't an endgame activity, the raid itself is yes, I just feel for the whole "legendary status" that people should have completed all the hardest parts of the game including making it to the lighthouse, but again not knocking anyone that feels different it's just my opinion
-
Haven't been. Probably never will. I never have the time to dedicate to getting to the lighthouse and with the rampant elitism (not directed at you) it's nearly impossible to find a team. I'm PVE mostly anyway. I look at the ToO gear and admire and then move on lol
