Community: We want less spongey bosses!
Bungie: Okay here is Shield Brothers
Community: IT WAS TOO QUICK BUNGIE WHAT A LET DOWN.
Community: We want Mr. Fruit!
Bungie: Special Community Guest, Mr. Fruit!
Community: What a horrible selection for a PvE event. Screw you bungie.
Community: We want something new.
Bungie: Okay you can now wield a sword.
Community: Wtf why isn't my Gjallarhorn coming in Year 2? Bungie you messed up.
Why is this community never satisfied with what they beg for? Look how much this game has evolved in the year. We went from shooting a big circle (Sepiks) in the eye to having 2 rotating bosses with their own special attacks and then when one dies the the other inherits his attacks. Bungie could've done nothing at all with Destiny and just left it how it was. But no, they listen to US and we don't ever credit them. I applaud you Bungie for somehow not being so discouraged with some of this community that doesn't appreciate a single thing that has happened. Spoiled
EDIT 1: Damn almost 300 total replies. Whether you agree or disagree with what I said I'm glad you all are giving your personal and (reasonable) opinions. Keep em comin!

4 답변Let's create our own realistic community! I'm pleased with what Bungie is doing in The Taken King. Destiny is always evolving to be legend. Those that complain about changes and what not, then ask for them are not true Destiny followers.

2 답변Most people cant understand that bungie cant add complex mechanics in these strikes, specially when most of the people who run it will use matchmaking and wont use mics. Also i dont see why people complain about a strike beeing to short when most of them will speed run trought it anyway.

The shield brothers boss fighter looked amazing. I can't wait to do it myself. Not sure who was complaining about Mr. Fruit being the community guest for this event, who cares anyway? Not sure what you mean by the last comment, you are comparing apples to oranges, it doesn't make sense.

There are a few problems with your (ironic) thread. First, the most glaring assumption is that the people complaining about the strike, or Mr. Fruit, etc., are the same people who were arguing for change, or vice versa. That is idiotic in a community this large. If you can find an example of a person who was griping about bosses, and now thinks they are too easy, then feel free to roast them. Otherwise, you look like an idiot with this train of thought. Second, just because there is a change in something, you cannot assume it is for the better. So people could gripe over something they feel needs changing, and still not like what it was changed to. Change does not equal better.

It's the simple fact of you can't please everyone. The ones who complain about X aren't the ones who complain when X gets turned into Y. They're happy that X got turned into Y and are then happily silent. But people who were happy with X are then going to complain about Y. No point generalising the community just because different groups of people complain about different things.
