Community: We want less spongey bosses!
Bungie: Okay here is Shield Brothers
Community: IT WAS TOO QUICK BUNGIE WHAT A LET DOWN.
Community: We want Mr. Fruit!
Bungie: Special Community Guest, Mr. Fruit!
Community: What a horrible selection for a PvE event. Screw you bungie.
Community: We want something new.
Bungie: Okay you can now wield a sword.
Community: Wtf why isn't my Gjallarhorn coming in Year 2? Bungie you messed up.
Why is this community never satisfied with what they beg for? Look how much this game has evolved in the year. We went from shooting a big circle (Sepiks) in the eye to having 2 rotating bosses with their own special attacks and then when one dies the the other inherits his attacks. Bungie could've done nothing at all with Destiny and just left it how it was. But no, they listen to US and we don't ever credit them. I applaud you Bungie for somehow not being so discouraged with some of this community that doesn't appreciate a single thing that has happened. Spoiled
EDIT 1: Damn almost 300 total replies. Whether you agree or disagree with what I said I'm glad you all are giving your personal and (reasonable) opinions. Keep em comin!

작성자: Matu Flp Krawfe 8/27/2015 3:04:15 PMThis "community" isn't satisfied because. 1. It's comprised of many different people. Opinions will vary from topic to topic. Don't expect consistency, or otherwise people might think this is your first day on the internet. :p 2. Bungie may be improving with Y2 over Y1 but the hole they've dug for themselves requires more than "well the mission structure isn't hitting so far over par that graduating Bungie to the put-put golf course isn't an imminent priority." It's fit for a forum post saying "oh look, see, TTK isn't comprehensively shit" but we're still left with the core game's awful balance, bland gameplay, plagiarized story/setting, barren environments, writing fit only for MST3K fodder, fractured structure, crawling updates, and systematically derivative design. "Drop in the bucket" sums it up nicely. There may be positive points listed in Bungie's PR (but if you're not taking that with a massive grain of salt then you've learned nothing from year one) but those few points are not sufficient to make "the community" satisfied. You will still see people who think "this still isn't enough to fix the Plan 9 from Outerspace of our generation."

The majority of the community is satisfied with some things being left behind in favor for new variety. The majority of the community don't even know who Mr. Fruit is and didn't ask for him to be a presenter. The majority of the community actually possess some measure of common sense and basic reasoning skills. The majority of the community realizes that no games is perfect and change takes time. The majority of the community isn't collapsing into puddles of tears and piss over every balancing change.

you do know this is a forum that is made up of MANY different people with MANY different points of view right? Referring to a group as a single entity is a bit too simplistic. There will always be conflicting views on an forum because that is why they were created. Calling the forum toxic or saying that they are never happy is more than a little redundant. ANY venue that allows people to express their OPINIONS will always have argument and people wanting things that others do not. One person wants Thorn nerfed and the next wants it buffed. Thinking of them as the same person is idiotic

작성자: loonigus 8/28/2015 7:55:40 AMI would like to point out that around 5% at the most use the forum and from that only like 2% are active contributors (posts/threads) from the whole Destiny playerbase. What the forum says or posts is just a small fraction. Listening to what the players want is in 9 out of 10 cases a terrible idea for any game developer company anyway. The year 1 tho even despite the fact that I poured many hours into it felt like a beta phase, but you know what? Iam OK with that... If it actually helps to push the game quality forward I gladly take the place of paying beta tester. All the Steam or Kickstarter alpha phases are paid nowdays too with a way less polished product. I rather buy an unfinished game like Destiny, then a broken alpha stage game. A few things that I hated and I hope Bungie will work on them... - First one is obviously the lag... Destiny in the future years needs dedicated servers for various activities. - Get rid of the old gen consoles... 10 year old consoles are holding any further development in chains and the dev architecture is terrible on the PS3 and XBOX 360 compared to what PS4 and Xbone allows nowdays. - Private matches - WAY more frequent weapon balance patches. It is ofc obvious that balancing out so much weapons is a nearly impossible task, but fixing the obvious OP perks or weapons itself shouldnt take 6 months. Atleast each 3 monhts there should be a massive weapon rebalance patch - FOR THE LOVE OF GOD NO MORE CURRENCY CHANGES, PLEASE? - And last, but not least important is the transparency of the "Work in progress". Give us more insides into what you working at currently. We were waiting 5 months WITHOUT any information about the current meta. Datto made a great vid on that matter like two months ago.

16 답변5-10% of customers are never happy. Destiny players are looking to bump that average up! Kids today...spoiled rotten shites.

I agree a 100% - catering to the masses is impossible. The best anyone can do is attempt to make the greatest number of people happy....although it could be perfect and someone will complain simply to complain. Some gamers can be the most moody, self righteous and entitled individuals - although I would like to think most of us are pretty awesome :)
