Good memories from Destiny year 1 where I felt like I had become Legend:
1. Acquiring Fatebringer.
2. Getting Black Hammer.
3. Finding Gjallarhorn.
4. Reforging Efrideet's Spear to perfection.
5. Getting The Scholar (Adept).
6. Acquiring Trials of Osiris Gauntlets and Boots with double perks.
7. Ascending my favorite weapons to current levels - those important to me that fit my playstyle.
What does NOT make me feel like I am becoming Legend:
1. Taking all of that away and forcing me to start over as "a new beginning" with the kind of junk shown in the reveal stream. None of the weapons shown in the reveal stream have good stats or good perks.
2. Purchasing your year 2 versions of existing exotics means re-leveling them from scratch.
3. Only allowing a small number of year 1 exotics to progress to year 2 (what ever happened to your exotics will always carry forward with you?).
4. Constantly nerfing weapons to balance PvP but affecting them in both PvP and PvE. None of the changes ever applied to any of the weapons were ever needed outside of the Crucible. The shotgun change proved that you can alter weapons in one place without affecting them in another. Just imagine what the Vex Mythoclast would be like if it still worked as originally intended in PvE content.
This is a terrible idea and will make you lose many year 1 players - especially since so many good AAA games are releasing this fall. Destiny really needed to make some amazing changes and keep us interested, but instead they've totally screwed up (exotic releveling, some exotics carry forward, no year 1 legendaries, etc) and kicked us all in the nuts. You are making it way too easy to leave Destiny.

작성자: MOAB23 9/20/2015 4:06:29 AMWhile this game boasts about you being able to 'Become Legend' - now changed to 'Become Bungie's Legend' or 'Become a Red Bull and Various NFL Teams Sponsored Legend' - MGSV, even though you are playing a character described as legend in canon, actually makes you feel like you have developed the character over the course of the game to become your own. Destiny is just a toy designed for the developers to enjoy at the end of the day.

People who say we've never played an mmo don't really know that some of us played mmo for years and years and still felt like destiny hit the mark well and good with their game. They missed the mark by making all we fought for obsolete. I played mmo for a long time. Destiny moved me away from the ones I played. They pushed me away and back to the others with how they treated our gear. End.

Any how, I remember playing WoW during Burning Crusade days, and when Lich King came out I was pumped, but then let down when a lot of basic quest reward gear was better than my own heroics and some raid gear. Once things got into full swing, and doing better dungeons, heroics, and raids, that old previous content gear was a thing of the past, unless it was something that still sold pretty high in the auction house. Point is all this bitching about all the year one gear is moot. Sure a lot of stuff seems like shit now but, just wait things will be better. And if it's not to your par, -blam!- off go play another game and stop bitching at the people who are still enjoying this game. Every damn faces negativity and haters, you wanna complain, just stop playing. Realistically we know you won't, you'll drop dollars for the next expansion and maybe another one, and most likely...keep bitching

작성자: Gooch_McGrundle 8/26/2015 10:03:36 PMI agree with all of this but at the same time, I don't want to start at the launch already at the top. It's fun building your arsenal and it's been a very long time since I've had something new to accomplish or aquire.

I made the mistake of spending the 60$ to get this game, then a bigger mistake was getting the expansion pass, turned out nothing but a grind fest for both them, and hell you don't even need The Bugs Below to get to 34 all you need is House of Money, so in short, no way in hell will I pay any money for another expansion pass that basically tells us to go -blam!- ourselves and start over, like you said way to easy to leave Destiny, and most I know already left long ago. It wasn't even worth a few minutes on Tuesdays or Fridays, but least I stuck with it to least get my moneys worth, if you could even call it moneys worth...

4 답변But wait the NEW Suros regime is black ....... ........ ........
I have heard Destiny fanboys give me that argument.
Seriously though I agree with ya. It's a huge burn when they tell you all that cool gear you grinded for is trash Those exotics we put up on this huge pedestal that you all have been chasing after....we just pulled the legs right out from under it. Trash now. Real kick in the balls.

5 답변작성자: Zero 8/26/2015 11:53:03 PMTo the people who are upset about the old gear becoming obsolete I have a solution for you. Never play game's like diabo 3, guild wars 2, world of warcraft, tera online, destiny, runescape, or any game that has a loot loot system. I'm going to lay it down for you...I played guild wars 2 for years and if you think destiny is a grind oh my....you have no idea what grind is. To this day I am still grinding on guild wars 2. You can cry all you want saying "but destiny is not a mmorpg!" your right....its a mmorpg-fps. Destiny has classes, so does guild wars 2. Destiny has races, so does guild wars 2. But destiny...has a story.....yes and no..well guild wars 2 story blows destiny story out of the water but yes destiny does have a story and so does guild wars 2. But...destiny has male and female characteristics...so does guild wars 2. Destiny has events...so does guild wars 2 but there events blow's destiny events out of the water..F*** out of this universe even. I can keep going but you got my point by now I hope. Now back to my original point! If you ever played game's like diablo 3, world of warcraft and so on there gear does become obsolete. There not obsolete for the noobs...but there obsolete for the higher level players. That's how this shit works I'm sorry. I'm going to tell you a little secret..come closer...destiny is a hamster wheel... What does that mean you might ask. Well....most mmorpg works like this....you level up to max, get the best gear then...well...there raids and events and pvp and what not but that's about it. BUT THEN! The expansion pack come's out AND! drum roll please....The level cap is now 20 level's higher then old max level, your gear is obsolete so you have to grind for experience points to level up and grind for new gear to be OP once again.... Game's like destiny, world of warcraft and guild wars 2 are hamster wheels. You just keep grinding over and over to get that max level and to get that new gear....and...that's the sad truth really. The only difference destiny has over wow or guild wars 2 is it has gun's in it and it's a FPS...... buuuuut I still call it a mmorpg-fps. If you don't like that then you have to tell bungie that they have to change the formula/mechanics but I don't see that happening any time soon.

Still havn't prepurchased. Might put destiny away for awhile. All these things get cheaper with age and i don't like the directions this is going in. Also feel like I've been taken for a fool in 1st year. I admit i bought into the hype and prepurchased destiny and both expansions but honestly its not what i thought i was getting from the advertisments. Destiny will probably be the size i thought it would be by year 3 or 4.
