Try buying outside the US. In UK the TTK digital download is the same price as the Legendary Edition on disc including shipping. They decided not to bother working out the currency exchange so is the equivalent of $63.00 when only $39.99 in US. In other countries where the exchange rate would not work in their favour, they did work it out, so in Australia, it is $70.00. Pure and simple greed that they refuse to answer any questions about.

$15 is generous. $20 is reasonable, considering the supposed size. I agree with you though, that was the first thing I said when prices came out. Consider everything from year 1 is obsolete, it's not like anyone even needs the first 2 DLCs

Eh some points I agree with. Year one players are owed more tribute. But don't kid yourself. If you enjoyed year 1 then year 2 will b a whole new challenge in itself.

You're not alone. You have to take a stand for things you feel are not fair. Other players don't have to agree, but there is a reason so much venom has been directed to Bungie. You don't see this kind of Venom on Bethesda or CD Projekt Red's forums. It's like a movie star that everyone likes because he/she is a great actor, but then you find out they are a stuck-up asshole to their fans and suddenly you don't want to spend money to support them anymore, so you skip their movies in the theaters. Bungie has repeatedly demonstrated they don't respect or value it's players (especially year 1'ers). To them we are simple minded drones with the sole purpose to "throw money at the screen." Players deserve better than that.

After i found out that the time i spent in year 1 would be almost useless, i will not be playing this game past the ttk drop. On to something that is actually enjoyable to me.

I won't lie, I am somewhat interested in the taken king. It's not on my top 5 list like fallout 4. I am a little heart broken when learning that all my old gear will eventually become useless. I guess the progression of new weapons will fill the void. On the brighter side, I am happy to hear that TTK will focus more on the rPG side of the house. Also the armor side as well. I still have mixed feelings. Right now still 60/40 on excitement.

Bungie's treatment of the Year-1 Beta Testers is demoralizing and demeaning.

But the people in charge of making decisions are ass backwards! The constant nerfing, lies, buying content (cutscenes) that was supposed to be in the original game and selling it to us as DLC is one big freaking slap to the community! The wonder why we still can't figure what this game is about...BUNGIE took it out in big pieces! They made this one giant puzzle and took chunks of it and selling it as bullshit!

I can totally afford $40, but it I'm over this game. Great gun mechanics, but the people at Bungie suck. All we really want is more content, instead they make changes to shit that doesn't need to be changed. They're like a kid with a zit that can't leave it alone but instead picks at it until it's 10 times worse. The light levels didn't need to change, you didn't have make guns we all worked hard for obsolete, and I didn't need blueprints of shit. We needed more vault space, optional matchmaking and more effing levels, strikes,raids etc. it's not rocket science. Luke Smith and Deej and the rest of those -blam!-tards are the reason why this game is doomed to fail because their useless pieces in of shit.

Your opinion is shared by many. Most of my friends have stopped playing Destiny. All of them are upset about year one exotics and a lot of the pointless nerfs and buffs. We can only hope bungie turns this game around.

They can make the expansion 5 dollars, still wouldn't buy it. Call me an idiot hell you can even call me a liar because I still actively surf and post on these forums, I don't care. But Bungie and Activision will not get another penny out of my pocket for Destiny.
