[/quote] I guess I'll just troll this Haha I've been reading some of the other stuff you've said and I agree with you in some things. I think intention is really important when it comes to whether something is mean spirited or criticism for improvement. I also think as human beings we communicate our intentions and POV poorly. Luke Smith, you, me and everyone are all guilty of this at some level. Luke Smith didn't intend for what he said to be taken the way he did, the real mistake was his intention wasn't communicated and left to listeners assumptions of what it sounded like the intention was. I guess my comment on this is its not enough to just disagree, but disagree in a way we communicate that our intent is to not offend but explain why we feel differently. Tl;dr don't communicate only to be understood, attempt to communicate so you can't be misunderstood.

1 답변I'm not taking any sides between you or Sols. Not my fight. That being said you are going out of your way to defend yourself, and our views on what a "troll" is differ significantly. Same calling = forum troll, you're officially changing the tone of the discussion from where two people disagree and elevating it to an argument. Civil discussion erodes and the conversation becomes more and more emotionally driven. One could argue against that, sure, but the VAST majority of adults leave that kind of comment as "banter" to friends and not strangers and for a reason. Two people can disagree and be civil. The internet provides anonymity where people become both A) bullet proof and B) 300# MMA champions with a black belt in ass kicking. There are far worse things to call someone besides "clown". I get that. Sols was banned by a Ninja, not Bungie directly (i think). I get that as well, and don't think it is a great Bungie conspiracy to give him a temporary ban. He broke the CoC, plain and simple. I've seen worse said on this forum and have seen people get away with it as well. The ban hammer doesn't always swing down upon everyone. That being said, if you say that you instigated nothing I would say you're wrong. I enjoy Sols posts, and if you have a different point of view and articulate that in an adult manner then I'd gladly read what you have to say. But, i don't think you claim innocence here.
