The Grimoire score, something many of us cherish and have worked so hard to increase or max has been removed from the emblem nameplate insignia? Why?!?! Why do we need to see both base AND light levels on the emblem card? Eventually everyone will be level 40, and people can easily inspect to view this redundant info. Grimoire is a great way to instantly distinguish between more accomplished and engaged players than viewing whether they are base level 30 or 40. I agree with many of my group members here that removing the grimoire from nameplate is not something the endgame community wanted. The now nearly 3000 of us worldwide who have worked, grinded, and spent countless hours perfecting destiny feel this is our identity and would really undermine the incredible tasks we accomplished in literally beating every challenge the game has to offer.
We already are under rewarded with our achievement considering there is really no reward or incentive to obtain the maximum obtainable grimoire, that however has not stopped myself and my fellow group mates from doing it. In addition if what is stated in this post is true, not only will this trend continue, but you will this will take away the very identity my entire group has worked so hard to earned and deserve to keep. Please do the right thing Bungie ^.^
Here are some example Nameplates with the grimoire remaining. (Provided by: Grandmasters of Grimoire)

Could this be the start of bungie removing grimmoire score from the game entirely in the dlc after TTK. What if they thought it was a mistake to do the grim/story the way they originally did, as well as making so much of it secret until you discovered "x", that theyre going to do away with grim score altogether (theyd have to remove the lucky 7s trophy too)? I personally like it every time my grim score goes up (its not great, but better than alot that i see)and want it to stay on the emblem and visible and would that much more if it was close to perfect. It seems they dont want yr one players to stand out at all, even the founders pack reward is really just a preorder bonus for TTK and not unique to yr one players by a long shot. Good post

PLEASE PLEASE PLEEEEASE put the grimoire back on the nameplate. Grimoire is an at a glance way to show others how dedicated and versatile you are and burying them under an inspect menu sucks. It kills all the motivation to play to fill out your grimoire as well. Since all purps and most exotics are gonna be trashed now everytime an expansion comes out grimoire was a way to make some real progress that would last the course of Destiny (unless they don't carry over between sequels, which would be LAME). It's as much an indicator of our skill and dedication as our level and gear, and should be displayed as such.

Yeah, I was really bummed to see that it was no longer on the card, especially after the hours and hours of grinding me, and a few of my clanmates have been doing to try and achieve max. It's no quick and easy task, and being able to show your dedication to Destiny on your card is very important to me, and the rest of my clan.

Grimiore score on name plate? I feel is not dat important(jus my opinion)those points only rep your hunt knowledge, it doesn't mean u play well or have good experience n crucible, strikes or story, it's jus small bragging rights.

작성자: Blues-Riff 8/23/2015 10:40:30 AMI honestly always thought grimore score was a joke. Here have these useless points and use a sorry excuse of a last minute rehash of a story as a makeshift form of ranking. They know it. They should've been emblems received by doing those tasks in the first place.

I am in agreement that grimoire score should remain on the nameplate into The Taken King. It might seem like a trivial thing considering the scale of the new expansion, but i think a public facing statistic that is linked to something else, other than experience and gear, is just as important.
