what will happen if ttk flops?
what do you guys think would happen if the year 2 dlc for destiny ends up failing? post answers in the comments

It's their last chance year 1 wasn't good I can understand, same thing has happened to a lot of games but you've been given a year, yes you've rolled out a lot of updates but with that being said a lot of those errors shouldn't have been there but I still love this game

1 답변I think it will be their last chance for a lot of people, but you'll still have a huge contingent of younger gamers who stay with the game since they don't know any better and they don't care. Either way I think the game will still have a healthy population.

It won't be the immediate end of Destiny, but for sure it'll be a slow downfall that will punish Bungie big time towards their future on Destiny. From a business stand point, they better deliver. All this nerfing (more specifically PvE side) and changes are very delicate and many as of now are very unhappy yet they'll try TTK for sure. But Bungie better deliver with new best weapons. Example, they better bring a hand cannon that is better than Fatebringer or a rocket launcher better than Gjallarhorn. They should, if we are progressing and moving forward into the game we can't have old weapons that are better than the new ones (exactly what happened with TDB and HoW DLCs). If Bungie want to play "Dictators", they better deliver something better because if they don't I doubt we will see more than 3 years of this game. We shall see what TTK does...

They would have to do something seriously wrong at this point to make it fail. Like catastrophic failure. For example, servers being completely down across PS and Xbox for a month while other big title games are released, doing something completely unethical like showing us one thing on the stream and then delivering only a fraction for the whole DLC after already taking money, selling the company and the buyer chooses to stop all support of Destiny to "reorganize", or forcing a subscription model on us. I don't see any of that really happening though.

1 답변The first years of Diablo 3 were god awful.. But blizzard listened to the community and started delivering constant updates to that world. Diablo 3 is a shadow of the game it was when it launched. It's great now. Destiny has me, though and if it continues to improve.. I'll be here for the long haul. Give it time. Have some faith. Don't board the hype train because it almost always leads to let downs. Let's see what they have in store for us.

Define flop? For example, I may love it for the same reason you may hate it. The same way the last two DLCs have polarised people. :) it's going to be tough for it to totally blow because many people like the base game already.

12 답변Ttk is bungies last chance for me. I've given them chance after chance after chance. If ttk doesn't have what we want and need. Along with some weekly bi weekly updates and free added stuff I'll be done for a while, or until I read things are getting better.

It won't flop. They have been listening for an entire year. I'm not talking about requests I'm talking about what works and doesn't work. On top of that, everything shown so far looks promising. They can't flop. This is what they've been working on with no interuption or setback. Their reputation is also on the line here.

2 답변It wont. ITS already clear that it wont. This dlc is going to be awesome. I would gladly Pay 65bucks for it. And I havent even seen all it has to offer yet.
