I guarantee if you go through all the requirements to max out your Grimoire, by the end of it you will progress and become a better player. Going from lets say a 2500 Grimoire to 3500 is a big transition. I look at people with high Grimoire scores as Navy Seal's. You know you can drop them in any situation and they will perform. There might be some people more skilled in certain areas, but they're a jack of all trades. I would take someone with a 3500 Grimoire over a 2500 any day for my fireteam. That score insures confidence to me that they will know what they're doing.

1 답변Yeah, because hours of grinding and playing equates 100% to ownage, growth and skill. Fail.

2 답변To me, grimoir is like achievement hunting on the xbox. It's honestly kind of pointless, and nobody goes, "Hey look! His gamerscore is over 9000!" All it is is a system to tell you how much of a completionist someone is. I think I'm missing ghost and exo grimoir score, and I don't care enough to go after it. It doesn't determine player skill in any way, shape, or form. Only thing I've ever used it for is pve related, because it's a decent indicator on whether or not someone will need much explaining on a raid or nightfall etc. Even then, it's really not a deciding factor, more as an afterthought. TL;DR Grimoir isn't all that important, but more power to youbif you have it.

1 답변작성자: Mu Nova 8/20/2015 5:24:09 PMThere definitely is a correlation between grimoire and ability, since more grimoire means more experience. But it is only a correlation. And some people take it much too seriously.

2 답변Lol I got all my grimoire without deliberately grinding,(except the ghosts where I found 39 legit ages ago)

4 답변It equals experience, which in most cases transfers to some amount of more skill. Don't quote me on that

67 답변Sorry grimmer score don't mean shit, all it means is you know how to watch YouTube to find all the ghosts. Most of my fireteam has lower grimore score then me but are just as good, if not better.

For me personally High Grimore is 'Strength of the Wolf' medal - I get ashamed the more I get it. Just means that the environment/going was kind to me. Not judging, just my personal opinion. Been playing since Oct last year.

3 답변One cannot deny that there is a correlation between grimoire score and experience with the game. Coupled with the fact that there is a correlation between experience in something and skill development in it.. I'd say you are correct. But take it from a Trials player... Grimoire doesn't ensure you're better than somebody. Take a look at k/d. That's a more reliable indicator for sure.

I look at grimoire not necessarily as skill but in game knowlege. Like you said you can place a higher grimoire guy in just about any situation. They have the knowlege to at least fulfill the objective and not hinder the team. They may not be the most skilled but they always have the knowlege to fulfill whatever task.

작성자: A Unique Potato 8/19/2015 5:45:32 PMIts hard to "tag" a player good or not good. Simply because there is no 100% precise way to do it. Grimoire score shows the dedication of the player and also a part of skill due to certain grimoire cards. But it still not a 100% accurate if we consider that some player with below 2500 can be really good players that knows what they're doing. So in that case, we will turn ourselves for the KD as an accurate way to "tag" a player, but again its not, because some players have started playing the crucible with as much skills as a Pug trying to ride a unicorn. they became great players with time but with a relatively low KD of 1.2 for example. Wich means, bumping their KD up will take a considerable amount of time... But if we say KD does matter anyway there will still be a problem. Crucibke KD is for crucible only which means 50% of the entire game! A good player is not only based on his PvP skills but also in is PvE skills! That's a whole other 50% of the game right there! And we all know that PvE KD doesn't matter at all. Unfortunatly a lot of good player will remain unknown because of the lack of a precise in-game stat that will assure other player to watch their back if, for example, XxXBLAZEIT420XxX, is tough as nut if we look his stats. So no. Grimoire is not an accurate way to show player's skills but it can give an overall idea of the player skills.
these are all personal opinions you may disagree if you will :)
