I grew up on PC and PlayStation 1 & 2. But ever since Microsoft has been in the game I have preferred their controllers. I work in plastic manufacturing and I mod my controllers, inside and out Microsoft always win for me because the quality is much higher. The plastic and internals are just better.
Also I like the way it feels to me and I have owned both consoles every generation.
Depends on what you're used to. I've been using the PS4 controller for 12 years now and recently when I used an Xbox One controller, it just felt weird and wrong.
But, someone who has played Xbox for 12 years and recently buys a PS4 would say the same thing about the PS4 controller.
Obviously the Xbox One controller because it just feels like its a quality product when you pick it up and use it, it looks like a quality product and best of all... It is a quality product 10x better than the Dual Shit 4 controller because god damn triggers on those things are the cheapest looking thing ever and the thumbsticks are side by side? Wtf!!!!!!! I don't want my thumbs having a thumb war while I'm trying to shoot someone or race a car and while I'm hitting the trigger I hear this stupid snapping noise everytime I quickly tap it is seriously trash I say the only thing the DS4 has going for it is the Dpad (lol) while the Xbox One perfectly and I mean perfectly perfects the triggers, Dpad, thumbsticks that don't wear down like DS4 does and aren't right next to each other which is the stupidest thing ever the way the Xbox One thumbsticks are is a no brainer its THE BEST CONTROLLER KNOWN TO MANKIND ITS THE 360 CONTROLLERS BIGGER, BETTER, AND MORE ATTRACTIVE OLDER BROTHER!!!!!
Tbh I have a Xbox one and the only thing I don't like is how bad the shit lags at times like I will want to snap the party and I will sometimes be waiting there for 3 minutes while the damn thing loads. I feel like the ps4 loads faster in general but man that controller feels like a toy in my hands
The Elite Xbox One controllers coming out in October. Hair triggers, programmable button layout, removable buttons, and you're able to add four buttons to the back of the controller as well.
