Over the years I've come across alot if unique and wierd gamertags and psn usernames. So I thought I would make a post and see how you guys came up with them.
I created mine about 10 years ago when I was big into the game runescape. I really wanted it to be "awhisperinthedark" but it was taken already and I really didn't want to have number in my name. But after trying for a good hour with different variations I made mine darkvoice7 and had to settle with a number at the end which was my favourite number. Since then it's the one I use for all online games, and I use darkvoice8 for forums and stuff.
If we can get this trending and keep it trending then maybe we can get deej and cozmo to tell us how they got/came up with their names.
Edit: alot of these are really unique :-) it's cool to see how certain things outside of games can have an effect on how people made their names.
Edit2: over 150 replies wow! I honestly wasn't expecting that many :-) thanks to everyone for contributing. Im enjoying reading them, and I'm sure other people are too :-)

My sister's friend read a book where on of the main characters name was Kyo. I liked it so I've used it since. At one point I got into Roman Numeral numbers so I when with the triple I and was Kyo the III for awhile. I made my first XBL account as Kyo the III but it wasn't my main account. When I brought my main account to Live I had to settle with Kyo the 3rd.

My favorite TV show is a not very well known show from 1999-2001 called The Invisible Man. It is one of the smartest, yet most hilarious, shows I've ever seen. I wanted a gamertag that paid homage to I-man. My 1st gamertag was quicksilver319, after Quick Silver, the substance that turns Darien Fawkes invisible. But then I landed on Invisibella319, which shows my feminine side and pays tribute to I-man. The 319 is my wedding date : March 19.

1 답변My username is after my favorite character in my favorite book series; as for my GT, I set it up during Halo 2 and thought for whatever reason "Master Chief" would be available. When ArchMasterChef popped up as an alternative, I read it wrong as ArchMasterChief and selected it. The name grew on me over the years so I never changed it.

2 답변Long ago... I was DeathdevilX I was a child then I thought it sounded cool. Then I changed it to raidenDDX thinking it was cooler still... When I look back at my silly immature mind I smile. When I was around 16 right before the 360 came out, I wanted a gamertag that sounded good. That felt like me. I love cold weather, when would go snowboard in vail colorado I just went in jeans and a t shirt. For some reason I feel good when I am cold, dare I say strong? Always have for some reason. So I came up with Kryojenix. I loved it then, I still love it now. Its been my gamertag for more than 10 years now. Haha time flies

When playing gta4 online, after an hour or so of warm up, I was pretty dangerous in Pvp. So I created this account name to forewarn opponents :) Since moving house, my internet is laggy as hell and I am no longer worthy of the name in crucible :(
