Just carried someone through Lighthouse...how ungrateful (-_-)
So I saw this post the other day that a goodhearted Guardian helped someone to the lighthouse for the first time, he was saying how gratefull he was. You know what it got to me! 😄 So I went to LFG in search for a Guardian who desperately wanted to go to the lighthouse. This one guy got my attention, his post didn't show how desperate he was :P his post on LFG said like "you MUST be good or don't waste my time" but I remembered that guy cause I looked his k/d up weeks ago which was 0,17 :P but it's 0,34 right now so he did improve a little :P I said to my friend lets do it! Let's carry him!!! And boy what a struggle it was !! But we finally did it without losing any matches. After we won our last match, that guy who we just carried to his first ever flawless just left the fireteam..without even saying "thanx guys" 😐
Edit: so many positive reactions!! Even people offering to take some of you to the lighthouse! That's great Guardians!! Show some more love!

Hey well you did something good for somebody with a bad K/D you should feel proud of yourself! You did a good deed here and I betcha he was happy! Wouldn't it still feel good knowing he was excited to go to the lighthouse?

1 답변Your first mistake is helping someone just for the praise. Sure, it would have been nice for him to reciprocate such kindness, but you should never undertake an act of sacrifice for the sole reason of having someone worship you. If you do, you're bound to be disappointed. Feel good about yourself: you helped him achieve something he probably would have never done, but just because an inspiring post about friendship and teamwork makes it seem like all people are kind and appreciative does [i]not[/i] mean they are.

Me and a friend helped another one of my friends to the light house this past Friday, he said he didn't want to be carried and wanted to be helpful and carry his own weight. The first time around we went 8-1, second time we went 9-0. We had some stressful matches but the guy came through, and pulled his weight, he isn't the greatest player and neither are we but he was willing to listen and do what was told he came through in the end by clutching the final win in what might be one of the most stressful matches I've ever played lol. Hearing the excitement from my friend made the run totally worth it. Don't let the the bad apple stop you from being a better person. Also for those looking to get better, try playing the Elimination playlist, its set up like Trials if you lose, see what you can do differently and keep at it, work at it and it will pay off.

Sad when people are ungrateful. Personally I would love to get to the lighthouse just once so that I could actually see it. I'm so terrible at PvP that the top two players in the game probably couldn't carry me there though lol. Even if the guy you helped wasn't grateful just remember that some of us are grateful that people are actually out there helping others out.

2 답변My buddy and I teamed up with a guy who had used his mercy but also had one more win than us. We were 2 wins away from the lighthouse, without using our mercy, which made him one win away. We ended up losing that game and he was about to leave and was like oh wait you guys still have a chance and decided to stay and help us. After he died in the second round he quit leaving us 2 against 3 for the rest of the game, eventually leading to our second loss. Needless to say we basically carried him the whole way, got him to 8 wins when his avg kills were around 3-4, and gave him a shot at the lighthouse. He couldn't even be man enough to help us when it didn't benefit him. Ungrateful mother-blam!-ers.

Lame. I have never even had someone offer to carry me to the lighthouse (or through any other aspect of the game for that matter) so I am a little blown away that there are several of you out there who do this for folks. Guy sounds like a turd. I'm sure the next person you help will be much more appreciative.

Happened to me months ago when I was still playing on PS4. Our group carried a 30 through the Crota hard raid. For some reason he had blue weapons still equipped. After we beat Crota he got his rewards and just left without a word. This was at the time when Crota was still somewhat difficult to beat also. Just have to roll with the punches and know that you did a good thing for this horrible ungrateful community.
