Just carried someone through Lighthouse...how ungrateful (-_-)
So I saw this post the other day that a goodhearted Guardian helped someone to the lighthouse for the first time, he was saying how gratefull he was. You know what it got to me! 😄 So I went to LFG in search for a Guardian who desperately wanted to go to the lighthouse. This one guy got my attention, his post didn't show how desperate he was :P his post on LFG said like "you MUST be good or don't waste my time" but I remembered that guy cause I looked his k/d up weeks ago which was 0,17 :P but it's 0,34 right now so he did improve a little :P I said to my friend lets do it! Let's carry him!!! And boy what a struggle it was !! But we finally did it without losing any matches. After we won our last match, that guy who we just carried to his first ever flawless just left the fireteam..without even saying "thanx guys" 😐
Edit: so many positive reactions!! Even people offering to take some of you to the lighthouse! That's great Guardians!! Show some more love!

3 답변I have pretty much accepted that i'll never make it to the Lighthouse. All I wanted was the Grimoire. The emblem would be nice but like everything in Destiny it will be replaced with any Emblem that will come with TTK. And I doubt any of the elementals would deter you from using Fatebringer or Vision in PvE. I'm not the worst PvP player but I do not have a set group to roll with for Trials. My best chance of going Flawless was probably Week One of Trials which I went 7-0 and everything went downhill after that with 3 losses. By week two elitism started to creep in amongst the community as people were requiring the Emblem. After week two of Trials I took a two month hiatus from Destiny due to a family illness. I have only come back in the last week or so and have struggled to get a committed group of players because everyone wants Exotic Emblems as proof and all of a sudden a KD of 1 to 1.4 is considered bad. I have joined groups but they have been quite abysmal and nothing but rage quitters, afkers and some micless!!! I couldn't care less about my KD personally, but as result joining teams at random just to even get to play Trials, my KD has taken a massive, actually astronomical hit, i'm talking from 1.5 to a 1 KD, which only worsens my cause if I were ever to be considered by anyone playing Trials whether they are the good PvPers or the not so gifted. Oh well...

1 답변Yeah that is the same stuff I see on the forums: "Need 2 for Trials. Must be 34 with maxed gear and Trials Emblem for proof. Must have K/D over 1.00. Do not reply if you are bad or haven't gone flawless yet." *checks stats* Trials K/D: 0.50 Come on man!

27 답변By carrying scrubs through trials you: 1. Give them an unearned sense of accomplishment 2. Diminish the accomplishment for all legitimate players You're not goodhearted. You're a terrible person, ruining the community to feel better about yourself.

3 답변I have a friend who gets carried on a regular basis by a guy on Twitch. Now the thing that gets me is he will put all his trials emblems, armour etc on while in the tower or PVE. But come Iron Banner or a bit of control it all comes off!

It's nice to know there are people like you out there though. If I ever get to swallowing my pride, I know who to come looking for lol! Edit: I'm Polish and Norwegian so I got a heaping helping of pride and stubbornness. Lol

1 답변Sounds like something I'd do. Some people just need to be left alone with that kind of thing. Like I'll often just turn off my system after completing a difficult activity without saying a word. It doesn't mean we're ingrates, just that we're not overly excited about such things and would prefer to get it over with and out of the way. Like a chore or an unpaid job.

1 답변yeah...jeez. Why is it that only assholes seem to get favors? I would love some Light level 42 gear, but no one ever offers to help me out with ToO...Hell, I don't even care about the lighthouse...I just would like some gear to get my warlock to level 34. Too bad that I just can't stand PvP...

I have never been to the light house but what you did was nice so I'll thank you, thank you for being a helpful player who is willing to volunteer his time just for the sake of helping. Carrying on guardian and don't let people like that put you off from being helpful. And as always May RNGsus roll ever in your favor.... [b][i]Deus[/i][/b]

Wow what an ass. I had a couple friends try the first week and we got blown out of the water after slaughtering two teams. I kind of just gave up after that I dont care enough to actually put in that much effort.

13 답변I'm going to sound like a dick, but don't carry people. Seriously, it is very helpful to the guy who gets carried, but the trials is like a tournament. Only the best players can get to the top. (Cheaters can burn) It shouldn't be given to you by other teammates who do your work more than you do yourself. I've never been to the lighthouse. I want to do it, but I do not want to be carried.

I'm getting better, more kills etc but find trials leaps and bounds more difficult. I've been trying to help people with raids and skolas and yeah some are douches but most actually have a lot of fun conquering the mission first time. Tbh I'd be great full for 5-7 wins to get some gear or a weapon. Flawless would be like the cherry on top.

Hey well you did something good for somebody with a bad K/D you should feel proud of yourself! You did a good deed here and I betcha he was happy! Wouldn't it still feel good knowing he was excited to go to the lighthouse?
