Real players VS Xurners
Hey! I have such a simple solution to this problem! Bungie, just have a little symbol in the top left of Gjallarhorn proving you got it from a drop, rather than that scrub so sells things in the tower. BAM! Then people can't try and lie about it, it's proof. Done, problem solved.
Edit: Jesus this is complete havoc! It was just a small suggestion, man.

I've never laughed so much at Xur's inventory in my life... Listen, you work for your money, you EARN your money by sacrificing hours of your life to WORK So, the guy who spent an hour or two on the weekly EACH week to get his strange coins. Did he earn it? Or did the guy who got it through a randomly generated lottery ticket earn his? Buying from Xur IS earning. So then, people that xurned there ghorn should be able to buy heavy synths from Xur. And those that got it as a drop should get there heavy from drops. Seeing as they think that getting drops makes them elite. Wouldnt want to take that away from them.

3 답변I have a new rule for my raid groups, you must have 5,000 kills with gjallarhorn to join my group or 400+ hours played so even if you used Xur I know you put your time in like the rest of us. I really don't care how elitist this sounds.

Why the -blam!- do they get mad over a weapon? I'm so glad he's selling it, finally one of my friends who hasn't been lucky enough to get the drop can get the weapon! In a Raid or a Strike, are you really going to care if someone bought their exotic as opposed to having drop for them? Besides, why would anyone Lie about how they got their exotic? I'm not ashamed to admit that after hundreds of hours poured into the game and getting spat on by RNGesus, that I had to buy an exotic.

Shouldn't there be a symbol for every weapon? How lame is it that someone earned an Ice Breaker or a Monte Carlo when some else Xurned it! There needs to be some sort of mark that would go on their armor that can easily seen. If this sounds insane or stupid to you then all I can say is [spoiler]you are correct:-)[/spoiler]

A vast majority of the people who bought gjallarhorn from xur grinded hundreds of hours too, it's just that RNG didn't reward them with ghorn, like it did for you. They played the game as well.
