How can we have competetive pvp in destiny, when there is no privat matches, no custom games and no skilled based ranks for pvp?
How can playing public matches against randoms be considered competetive?
People care more about completing their bounties than winning matches.

Trials is perfect example of the nonsense until they can provide proper weapon balancing and more reliable servers competitive would be hot garbage

2 답변Clearly your not part of the competitive community. Otherwise you'd know how they get around it.

1 답변Remember in a society that gives ribbons to last place in the form of being a participant, this game is rated "T". You aren't allowed to have kids lose anymore.

3 답변10 years is a long time. Bungie can introduce any of this into their game when they feel like the time is right.

14 답변작성자: Adam 8/12/2015 10:34:24 PMI find it hard to think of any game mode as 'competitive' when blinking around with a shotgun is such an unbeatable playstyle. It's a fun, but unbalanced and casual game.... Shotguns have insane range, snipers have a ton of aim assist, TTK is very low across the board, grenades are easy as Hell to use, maps are completely lopsided, blink is such a huge imbalance.... It's designed to be extremely easy to play. And that's not even mentioning the lag.... I love the PvP, but unless massive balancing changes are made, it's laughable to think of it as competitive in any way, shape or form in my opinion

8 답변I have literally said this for the last year. Nothing Not a single thing Is Competitive in Destiny. I laugh my ass off when I hear the Bungie crew call their PVP competitive.. If destiny has a competitive PVP then, Tee Ball is also competitive. Field Day is serious competition. Kick Ball is a real blood sport. Just call it what it truly is, social.

작성자: The 7th fall 8/13/2015 3:28:51 AMI used to do Crucible for fun before it became Thorn/Last Word/Hawkmoon spam happy Crucible... at least now since the 2.0 weapon 'balance' patch notes preview a lot of Thorn/Last Word/Hawkmoon users have left the Crucible, so I can finally use guns that are actually fun rather than have to use something out of necessity.

There are some groups that do "Sweaties" (sp?) where they get everyone together and they time loading the Crucible at the same time and keep disconnecting until they get the full team they are trying to synch with. I'd love to do this, but I haven't found people in my age group who are remotely interested in playing tactically or coordinating with a team. A few months back they had a developer open house on the forums here, and it ended up being a huge backfire because they refused to answer a lot of questions. We did get them to say that there are "no private matches because they wanted to ensure an ideal matchmaking exprience for players. " (paraphrase). Basically, they wanted you to almost instantly load into a match with no wait time when you select Crucible. This had lead me to believe that they have no private matches because Halo showed them that clans start grouping up in private matches more often than not, and often they do things like karaoke and custom game modes - not content that other people, not in the clans, can access - so they are artificially making Destiny appear more popular, by forcing everyone to play limited (temporarily available) playlists, while also ensuring that we are providing playable content for each other instead of keeping ourselves to our limited group of friends. But then I think about how there was no crucible chat at first and how raids have no matchmaking and then I just think Bungie is confused or needs to hire more engineers. TL; DR: No private matches + Limited playlists = appearance of more people playing Destiny, quantity of games over quality, and instant loading always ready players in a public playing pool.
