This is the first time I've ever really posted to a forum...but there is just something wrong to me with the way people look for other people regarding raids/trials/PoE.
This notion occurred to me a few weeks ago as I was going to start looking for raids to run my (at the time) lvl 30 Warlock and lvl 32 Titan through. As I sat there, shifting through different groups on Bungie's group forums to find a group, I began to notice a trend...
This wasn't just one of your "oh, OK, I guess that's reasonable and makes sense" trends, it was more of a "I want to do this as quickly as possible, no newbs, no scrubs, no little kids, I'm awesome and you suck" type of trends...
To get to the point, why does anyone need a group of six lvl 34 players with max 365 gally's and other max weapons to run normal friggin VoG, and why is that the requirement? The notion in itself is ridiculous.
Furthermore, its not like they were the only people requesting something to that extent. I saw others like normal Crota, and 32/34 PoE demanding the same level of players...meanwhile you have kids on there that are just begging you to take their lvl 29 into normal VoG. Since when has anyone NEEDED this kind of level or equipment to run these raids? IMO, if you need that, you're worse than the lvl 29 just trying to get into the raid.
To be clear, we were all running VoG and Crota on both normal AND hard before level 34 was ever available. We were running VoG on normal AND hard before lvl 32 was ever available for that fact. So again, I ask, why is it a requirement to be lvl 34 with 365 gally and other max weaps to run normal VoG? My answer, it shouldn't be and you're pathetic for demanding that.
I run raids because I like to run them, I enjoy them, and I enjoy them when they're challenging. Sure, I get frustrated sometimes, everyone does when you've been stuck on an event for three hours, but we've all been there. But this fact that someone who can't get into a raid because they aren't 34 or at least 32+ is ignoramus (ha-ha, big werdz).
What level were you when you ran your first raid with your first character? I bet you weren't a lvl 34 badass with 365 gally and max weaps with all the experience to run the raid backwards and blindfolded. No, like me you were probably some lvl 27 Hunter/Titan/Warlock begging some group of people to take you along for the ride.
In closing, and in short the point of my, let's say rant, here is...
Quit being stuck up and lazy, when you select the raid it shows you the RECOMMENDED level for the raid so why not start there in posting what level you "need".
Secondly, remember where you started, and show a little compassion for that 10 year old kid who's looking for a raid, yeah I know they can get annoying, but what does it say about you being a twenty something elitist prick to that 10 year old kid? You feel like a big shot after talking smack over the internet? How adult of you.
Thirdly, have fun, there's is no reason I should need to listen to you throw your damn controller across the room because, *gasp* we didn't down Crota the first time *gasp*.
And finally, let's help the little guy out, its not gonna kill you to carry someone every once in a while, there's no need to post that you NEED a "level 34+ with max gally and weaps and God mode unlocked and better work for the developers because I want my lewtz from this raid, you suck insta-kick" that stuffs just dumb.
The same goes for those of you demanding flawless for trials. I bet you weren't always flawless, in fact, I KNOW you weren't, and for you to be all "well they should try harder and do trials more and meh my panties are too tight, elitist elitist lewtz, sniffle". How the hell do you expect them to, for one, go flawless if they are constantly fighting groups of flawless people and for two even get to the point of playing if all you're requiring is them to be flawless, stop being dumb and apply some intelligence to your request.
To those of you haters that are gonna be all "meh, your just saying this because you suck, bleh bleh bleh". Get something straight, I have 3 lvl 34's, all with gally and other various max weaps, and most of you would be envious for what gear I have just sitting in my vault. Additionally I am always willing to help carry anyone as long as I am available and they put the group together.
End rant.

I'm not fond of people cheesing raids, either. I like to have fun. Plus, there's always the remote chance of getting a blue or purple when you grease the AI baddies. Hell; I got a legendary on a stupid patrol this morning, of all things. But, if people are looking for something in particular, that's their thing. I'm not a bad player. I don't have any friends to team up with, so I haven't done any of the big raids. It ill come in time. I try to be patient and help. Hell; I was doing the Omnigul strike last night with two of the WORST players I have ever seen, but I just took my time and carried them. I'm hoping karma will pay me back some day. Most of all I just like shooting stuff so I don't really care what I'm doing.

작성자: Loot Cave Rave 8/12/2015 4:23:02 PMI'm with you here. The way I see it, if you want to play and the game lets you in, let's roll. We usually have a few who are good enough to carry if it turns out one or two are inexperienced or have a low lvl character or non-maxed weapons. If everyone without a Jellyhorn or a 34 were rejected by everyone else, what kind of setup would we have going on here? Before I joined the clan I'm in now, this is what I found to be the typical random group of 'raiders' - There's usually one big mouth know-it-all with a bit of skill, one big mouth with none, a quiet guy who plays well and says nothing and probably a squeaker or someone with their kids or the TV on full blast in the background. I'm aware it's not for every gamer out there but I strongly recommend finding a clan for anyone who wants to raid. Random groups usually want to do it the cheesy way, talk too much, fail too much and don't have fun. Usually, not always. From my experience with random groups, it often ends in wasted time or relief that it's over. Last word - if anyone is demanding you have Gjallarhorn maxed, max level character, 3000+ grimoire, seven Fatebringers, a crucible KD of 10.0 +, three legs and a bag of chocolate willies, they're probably going to be relying on you because they're weak. Join a group with no demands and you'll likely find players who can get stuff done whatever you bring to the table.

I've noticed this trend too but refuse to join peoples fireteam if I see that. That's their play style not mine so avoid that crowd. Plain and simple. I always start my own fireteam that way anyone is welcome. I have all my classes to leve 34 and they each have their own maxed ghorn, I never relied on it just because I was either running relic or sword. On the forums I do I just simply state "I DONT CARE IF YOU HAVE A GHORN, Not required" And you get a flood of requests like that.If you have time to help newbies or others, then good for you, if they want to do a fast run because they are either jerks or have multiple kids and a demanding partner then so be it. Just because majority of the forums have jerks in them that doesn't everyone is. Just start your own recruit and be specific that you just want to have fun. Otherwise, im a very relax experience raider too, i'll be more than happy to give a hand and kill some time and teach newbies the ropes.

2 답변I think the 34 requirement is more just a quick gate check that helps ensure a certain level of guns and experience. At least for people just looking to slam it out as quickly as possible. If you make your own post asking for recruits there's plenty of people out there willing to take the time and coach people through the raids, but a lot of us vets have done it so many times we just want to check it off for the week and be done. And we don't have three hours to teach a new group how to do it.

The way I see it is this. No, you do not need to be 34 to do Raids. But. I require 34 because I want to raid with experienced players like myself. Anyone who is on my level experience should 33-34 by now. No excuses. I like to help lower levels. But I just don't have the time to spend 2 hours on one raid. I work 45 hrs a week with a wife and kid. I'm trying to run through everything quickly. This is easy to do with experienced players. I can run all 3 nightfalls, both Raids, and 3 poe in just a few hours with a good group. Can't do that newer players. I would if I could. But I don't have the time.

2 답변The problem with rants like this is that when we were underleveled back in the day, we didn't try to get into groups of max level, max weapon guardians. We made our own groups and fought together to become the next batch of badasses. There were always elites and scrubs. And there always will be. For some reason now though, people think that's not ok. These selfentitled people and the 10 year olds they are "defending" are doing it all wrong. If this genuinely is a problem that there aren't enough lower level players to play with each other or clans willing to sherpa them, then that just shows that there's something wrong with this game. It can't attract new players. And it's too easy to reach max level. It also means there's not enough endgame/good content for higher level players to move onto and leave the verdant fields of vanilla and early expansions to the n00bs.

1 답변I don't see the point in raids 34 with max 365 weapons... your damage against lower level AI's gets capped anyway... as for trials, I don't even bother cz it's rife with cheating nd I don't like having 3 vs 3 sniper wars on the world's tiniest maps

No, like me you were probably some lvl 27 Hunter/Titan/Warlock begging some group of people to take you along for the ride.[/quote] No because a lot of people ran their first raid before you could get to lvl 34, back when it was almost all 29's running VoG. Back then everyone was in the same boat, they couldn't get that 1 piece of gear they needed to get to the max level, some had better weapons than others but generally everyone used the same weapons. Now however getting to ATLEAST 32 is a breeze, it should only take like a week max to get to 32 from scratch so if you're not 32 you're most likely not experienced, hell even a lot of 34's I meet on LFG ran VoG for their first time. Getting to 34 is way too easy now and a lot of people don't do VoG, so for the people that have known the struggle and just want to get it done quickly they ask for all 34's because they are more likely to be experienced with the raid. As for Gally, well that's usually just scrubs ^^ Also not including CE in here because you can easily 2 man or solo it.

When I started playing Destiny, I already had a group of friends who played since beta. They talked me into buying the game. My first vault run I was lvl 26 on my first character. We ran it with five people. I was pretty weak and nooby. We still finished the raid pretty swiftly. I didn't contribute much because of sub par gear, but they walked me through each step. Now we raid multiple times a week. It's all about having a decent group of friends, rather than putting together randoms.

My clan helps people with the raids all the time and we do not have a requirement to join just a basic willingness to listen to what needs to be done and do it. Trials on the other had is a different beast of its own bungie really screwed that up by allow only premade teams to join in. should have an option to match making.
