Seriously guys 'n gals...WTF?
This is the first time I've ever really posted to a forum...but there is just something wrong to me with the way people look for other people regarding raids/trials/PoE.
This notion occurred to me a few weeks ago as I was going to start looking for raids to run my (at the time) lvl 30 Warlock and lvl 32 Titan through. As I sat there, shifting through different groups on Bungie's group forums to find a group, I began to notice a trend...
This wasn't just one of your "oh, OK, I guess that's reasonable and makes sense" trends, it was more of a "I want to do this as quickly as possible, no newbs, no scrubs, no little kids, I'm awesome and you suck" type of trends...
To get to the point, why does anyone need a group of six lvl 34 players with max 365 gally's and other max weapons to run normal friggin VoG, and why is that the requirement? The notion in itself is ridiculous.
Furthermore, its not like they were the only people requesting something to that extent. I saw others like normal Crota, and 32/34 PoE demanding the same level of players...meanwhile you have kids on there that are just begging you to take their lvl 29 into normal VoG. Since when has anyone NEEDED this kind of level or equipment to run these raids? IMO, if you need that, you're worse than the lvl 29 just trying to get into the raid.
To be clear, we were all running VoG and Crota on both normal AND hard before level 34 was ever available. We were running VoG on normal AND hard before lvl 32 was ever available for that fact. So again, I ask, why is it a requirement to be lvl 34 with 365 gally and other max weaps to run normal VoG? My answer, it shouldn't be and you're pathetic for demanding that.
I run raids because I like to run them, I enjoy them, and I enjoy them when they're challenging. Sure, I get frustrated sometimes, everyone does when you've been stuck on an event for three hours, but we've all been there. But this fact that someone who can't get into a raid because they aren't 34 or at least 32+ is ignoramus (ha-ha, big werdz).
What level were you when you ran your first raid with your first character? I bet you weren't a lvl 34 badass with 365 gally and max weaps with all the experience to run the raid backwards and blindfolded. No, like me you were probably some lvl 27 Hunter/Titan/Warlock begging some group of people to take you along for the ride.
In closing, and in short the point of my, let's say rant, here is...
Quit being stuck up and lazy, when you select the raid it shows you the RECOMMENDED level for the raid so why not start there in posting what level you "need".
Secondly, remember where you started, and show a little compassion for that 10 year old kid who's looking for a raid, yeah I know they can get annoying, but what does it say about you being a twenty something elitist prick to that 10 year old kid? You feel like a big shot after talking smack over the internet? How adult of you.
Thirdly, have fun, there's is no reason I should need to listen to you throw your damn controller across the room because, *gasp* we didn't down Crota the first time *gasp*.
And finally, let's help the little guy out, its not gonna kill you to carry someone every once in a while, there's no need to post that you NEED a "level 34+ with max gally and weaps and God mode unlocked and better work for the developers because I want my lewtz from this raid, you suck insta-kick" that stuffs just dumb.
The same goes for those of you demanding flawless for trials. I bet you weren't always flawless, in fact, I KNOW you weren't, and for you to be all "well they should try harder and do trials more and meh my panties are too tight, elitist elitist lewtz, sniffle". How the hell do you expect them to, for one, go flawless if they are constantly fighting groups of flawless people and for two even get to the point of playing if all you're requiring is them to be flawless, stop being dumb and apply some intelligence to your request.
To those of you haters that are gonna be all "meh, your just saying this because you suck, bleh bleh bleh". Get something straight, I have 3 lvl 34's, all with gally and other various max weaps, and most of you would be envious for what gear I have just sitting in my vault. Additionally I am always willing to help carry anyone as long as I am available and they put the group together.

I like helping newbies, but I'm not running a raid with a whole bunch of them. I was a newbie once too. You're right, we're not all flawless and we all sucked at one point. However, I'm pretty experienced with the raids at this point. I don't have 200 completions or anything like that, but I know how to do them both quickly. I am able to solo Crota's End on Normal and I can do most of hard with ease. The only part I have trouble doing alone is Crota himself, but I don't expect to be able to do that. As for Vault of Glass, I've loved it since the first time I entered it. It's fun, challenging and even quite interesting. I will help out newbies, of course. I just don't want to walk into a raid with 5 people who don't have any idea what they're doing. I did that when the raids came out. I'll take 2 or 3. It's frustrating to do it with any more than that. I used to use LFG a lot. Playing with people from there is just... No.

The real problem is that you have to use a LFG out of the game. You cant really blame people for being picky about who they gonna run with. If there was in game match making, it could help solve this problem. Yes it will create other and or new problems as well, but I for one think the problems that arise from matchmaking wouldn't be as bad as the current problem.

7 답변I didn't read all..but it's because mist people went through the struggle of spending literally HOURS doing any hard raids. No one wants to deal with that now so they are reluctant on playing with experienced players now. Me and some buddies used to help people so 90% of the time they are noobs who dies every second. We don't deal with ppl anymore who cannot hold their own. Its ridiculous.

I'm not a stingy person when it comes to level, as long as you know what the hell you're doing. I'm on my own schedule, and don't want to not finish a raid because I'm wasting time with those who don't know how. Albeit, I'll adult take a newcomer when there's an open time slot for me and I have all the time in the world

3 답변I never take in scrubs that have never done raids because i have been play a long time and frankly I dont want to waste my time teaching people stuff because I dont have the time. If they want to learn I will only take 1 newbie and thats it everyone else but have expeience they also must be over 18 i will not deal with kids in my real life I will not deal with them when im trying to have fun besides 10 year olds should not be playing this game it might say teen but when its a online game its really mature I swear and the people I play with swear all the time and talk about real life issues. kids dont understand and they just want to make stupid weird noises and wont shut up when we are trying to focus on shit. I hear this in there girly voices all the time ( why is no one talking, what im i suppose to be doing) focus and shut up and play. also for poe if it says lvl 34 you should be atleast 33 not 32 not 30. btw you need to play more and learn that after doing something a lot you just want to get it done get the rewards and move on to the next not spend another 20 min teaching some scrub stuff. ( watch a damn video before you play raids/poe so I dont have to waste my time and make sure your atleast close to the min level)

That is alot of words lol but in all seriousness i agree totally. when i post on forums i put no requirements and the only time it doesn't work is when you get people who try to take the lead but don't know what they are doing and get upset when you tell them different

My hunter is a lvl 32 i've got no etheric light or anything like that, and to be honest the point of playing video games is for fun. Sure everyone wants loot, but isn't if more fun to use the guns you want instead of all of the top rated best guns? I don't hav a ghorn or any raid weapons and i still get along fine in pve. What I think would make things a lot better, is with the taken king update they should make at least vog, if not vog and crotas end, matchmaking so that it finds people for you to play with. Some people have no other people to play raids with. Then it would also solve the problem of kicking, but if they want to drop out they, can another person can join in later. I added periods for you, and yes clearly I'm literate because I read this post and answered it.

My particular problem with this is that I'll help new players out and be patient with them, but the thing I do not tolerate is when all of these new players come in and act like they know how to do every raid because they cheesed crota or they shoved atheon off the edge, they act like they know everything about the raids and argue with the older players; which, to be fair, a ton of new people tend to do. They get into a raid group where they cheese the bosses and they get super egotistical and act like they know everything and argue with the older more experienced players. They're the people that tell you that you don't need to clear supplicants during or before the atheon time's vengeance timer, but then meanwhile after we get ported they're the ones dying inside of the detainment bubble to supplicants then complaining that "we're noobs who cant play the game" They're the type of people standing on the center platform on the bridge encounter in crotas end when we tell them to get off cuz nobody's on the totems and they tell us that you dont need to stand on the totems to get it done and we all wipe. They're the idiots of the game that got it easy their first time and act like know-it-all bitches all day to experienced players. They're the kids that go to school every day because they're like 12 and are still in elementary school. Don't worry, when school starts again, you wont see nearly as much of this going around, because all of the regular people will be playing while all of the kiddies are in school doing work.

I agree with you (and btw I have 365 Gjelly but won't even have it equipped or use it for lvl30VOG) just remember some people are grinders and maybe it's their third vog this week and they're not in the mood or don't have the time (or are just assholes) to play with players who can't get through it in an hour. Just avoid them, look for like minded individuals. Friend when you find them. Repeat and enjoy the game your way. :)

I dont care to play with shit scrubs that waste my time. I do things to get it done, done right, and done as fast as possible. I dont have time to "teach" or the patience. With all the kinderguardians acting like they are all that on the forums they can "teach" themselves.

[/quote] Most of the people on LFG are loot addicts, they don't even play the video game but they want the loot. If they can glitch or cheese to get it, they will do that every time. High level and ridiculous weapons are just to streamline their lack of ability to use teamwork or coordination. Why do they want loot for a game that they never really play? I don't think they realize the full extent of the situation, thus is the nature of addiction.

i would do that to a 10 year old, kids are stupid. But ive seen this once "need 2 more for Nightfall, 34 and max Gjally" and this "Need 5 more for confluxes Hard, 34 max Gjally, and working mic" and most recently "Need 5 for bridge. 34 only max Gjally" Now I see why its getting nerfed

Use this website instead: the100.io You can find groups that are willing to run anything you want and you can set the criteria. It also matches people within your timezone as well. It's awesome for those looking for groups and possibly form a clan.

Most of the time I'm willing to help but sometimes I've got a limited time to play and just want to crush something, get my rewards, and get on with my day. Maybe you shouldn't feel so entitled to other people's free time.

6 답변Me and two of my fiends tried running VoG normal with low level people, but what took us 10 minutes to do when we were 28 took them an hour. They were pulling us down with them. They were not listening to/didn't understand instructions, couldn't communicate, and just overall screwed us over. Now if you knew what you were doing, we could even take a lvl 25 with us, and still make it in good time.
