This is the first time I've ever really posted to a forum...but there is just something wrong to me with the way people look for other people regarding raids/trials/PoE.
This notion occurred to me a few weeks ago as I was going to start looking for raids to run my (at the time) lvl 30 Warlock and lvl 32 Titan through. As I sat there, shifting through different groups on Bungie's group forums to find a group, I began to notice a trend...
This wasn't just one of your "oh, OK, I guess that's reasonable and makes sense" trends, it was more of a "I want to do this as quickly as possible, no newbs, no scrubs, no little kids, I'm awesome and you suck" type of trends...
To get to the point, why does anyone need a group of six lvl 34 players with max 365 gally's and other max weapons to run normal friggin VoG, and why is that the requirement? The notion in itself is ridiculous.
Furthermore, its not like they were the only people requesting something to that extent. I saw others like normal Crota, and 32/34 PoE demanding the same level of players...meanwhile you have kids on there that are just begging you to take their lvl 29 into normal VoG. Since when has anyone NEEDED this kind of level or equipment to run these raids? IMO, if you need that, you're worse than the lvl 29 just trying to get into the raid.
To be clear, we were all running VoG and Crota on both normal AND hard before level 34 was ever available. We were running VoG on normal AND hard before lvl 32 was ever available for that fact. So again, I ask, why is it a requirement to be lvl 34 with 365 gally and other max weaps to run normal VoG? My answer, it shouldn't be and you're pathetic for demanding that.
I run raids because I like to run them, I enjoy them, and I enjoy them when they're challenging. Sure, I get frustrated sometimes, everyone does when you've been stuck on an event for three hours, but we've all been there. But this fact that someone who can't get into a raid because they aren't 34 or at least 32+ is ignoramus (ha-ha, big werdz).
What level were you when you ran your first raid with your first character? I bet you weren't a lvl 34 badass with 365 gally and max weaps with all the experience to run the raid backwards and blindfolded. No, like me you were probably some lvl 27 Hunter/Titan/Warlock begging some group of people to take you along for the ride.
In closing, and in short the point of my, let's say rant, here is...
Quit being stuck up and lazy, when you select the raid it shows you the RECOMMENDED level for the raid so why not start there in posting what level you "need".
Secondly, remember where you started, and show a little compassion for that 10 year old kid who's looking for a raid, yeah I know they can get annoying, but what does it say about you being a twenty something elitist prick to that 10 year old kid? You feel like a big shot after talking smack over the internet? How adult of you.
Thirdly, have fun, there's is no reason I should need to listen to you throw your damn controller across the room because, *gasp* we didn't down Crota the first time *gasp*.
And finally, let's help the little guy out, its not gonna kill you to carry someone every once in a while, there's no need to post that you NEED a "level 34+ with max gally and weaps and God mode unlocked and better work for the developers because I want my lewtz from this raid, you suck insta-kick" that stuffs just dumb.
The same goes for those of you demanding flawless for trials. I bet you weren't always flawless, in fact, I KNOW you weren't, and for you to be all "well they should try harder and do trials more and meh my panties are too tight, elitist elitist lewtz, sniffle". How the hell do you expect them to, for one, go flawless if they are constantly fighting groups of flawless people and for two even get to the point of playing if all you're requiring is them to be flawless, stop being dumb and apply some intelligence to your request.
To those of you haters that are gonna be all "meh, your just saying this because you suck, bleh bleh bleh". Get something straight, I have 3 lvl 34's, all with gally and other various max weaps, and most of you would be envious for what gear I have just sitting in my vault. Additionally I am always willing to help carry anyone as long as I am available and they put the group together.
End rant.

5 답변I never see posts here talking about the people that are seen daily on lfg posting that they're willing to help out with anything... Only the group of posts requiring certain levels or weapons... I see those all the time; but do not feel the need to run and complain on the destiny forum. Don't like it? Then move on to the next....it's that simple. You'll find something eventually. You people seem to think that everyone should play or act the same way that you do... News flash.....there are a lot of a-holes out there both in the gaming and real world and most feed off of the complaining they hear from how they act... Stop feeding them...

2 답변I've never required people to be a certain level or have a certain weapon when I looked fo groups on lfg. But I can undersand some of the people that do because of the people I run into sometimes by not having any requirements. Most people that aren't level 34 or close by now are people that have never completed a raid before (or are people on new accounts or something, but you can usually tell). Most people that haven't done a raid before didn't do one because they don't want to/can't use a mic. Most people that don't want to/can't use a mic and really wanted to do a raid put in the effort to learn the raids mechanics by videos and listen to other people and communicate by emotes and shit. That leaves the people who don't use their mics, have no clue what they're doing and don't listen to you when you try to help them. I had random people without a mic picking up the relic at Templar that clearly had no clue what to do with it. I had people who joined in at the jumping puzzle and who died 10+ times and never once listened after I killed myself and respawned back up there to help them across. I had people at Atheon who when teleported with me would shoot everything except oracles even when I told them multiple times to shoot the lights, not to mention the 100's of people getting killed by supplicants because I see them standing still shooting at Atheon. Like you said we went into the raids at a low level. The difference was that our teammates were the same low levels and had about as little a clue what to do as us. We already went through hours of wiping to learn how to do it. I can understand people who now want to skip that part and play with people at their same level/experience. It's more fun for the lower levels as well to get into a group with other lower levels and figure that shit out by themselves. I'd never grown to love raids if my first experience was having to cheese the entire thing with people who just want some quick loot. I really think most of the people asking for 34+ with 365 Ghorns to run a VoG normal are the micless, raidless people who just want to be carried through. Like I said I don't require anything from people when on lfg, but I'm sure to skip inviting people who do require strange stuff like that because they will probably suck. Same as the people who ask for 2KD flawless players to run ToO with. Last weekend my mates didn't want to do ToO and I figured I'd check the forum for a group. All I saw were people asking for idiotic stats while theirs were far below what they required. I just gave up looking and will do ToO when my mates want to because unlike what you said, my first ever ToO run was a flawless and in there I'm in it to win it. I don't mind helping a friend through once every while, but I will not spend 3 hours trying to carry someone I hardly know and acted like he was a good player through.

4 답변I'm looking for 3 for VoG hard mode, fresh. No noobs, kids with high pitch voices, shit*y mics. You must also be lvl 34 and with a gally or you'll be kicked.

작성자: RUQUINNinSon 8/12/2015 10:52:44 AMGhorn isn't a necessity. It wasn't before. I was the first in my group to get it, almost all of the others have gotten it. We performed both VoG and CE with or without it on normal and hard. The only time I actually ever truly needed my Ghorn was for my solo run on normal as a lvl 32 before HoW dropped as truth and Hunger didn't do enough to down him in two rockets. My clan has taken people of all age groups, whether they were max level or 3 levels under requirement through these activities as a sherpa clan. We try to make it so that people who need help, get help. And ghorn is not and never will be a requirement.

4 답변Anyone with stupid ghorn requirements clearly isn't very good at the game. We completed VoG hard last night with 5 guys and no gally (I do have one but I was running relic)

작성자: Cool-Caution 8/12/2015 10:23:08 AMme and my friend normal do crota so have have 4 slots free. we normal check out the fourms to and pick up people that have not done them before or only done a couple of runs. when we do it we also teach them how it is done. (we may cheese one bit if there is only 3 of us in the team) we normally do it on normal with them and if they high enuff then ask if they want 2 do hard normally they say yes. we normally give them a couple a goes with the sword (not full training just a insight on how it is done) and to get there grimoire points kinda hard 2 do VOG as when my friends come on 2 do vog my other friends have not done them so they all jump in. when i was new to the game i meet 2 English guys that picked me up in the tower just at random ( i had not done it before and did not even know 6 people at the time and had not asked to do it) and took me thought crota. so i have taken a leaf out there book and passed it on. one kid got the gally (i still dont have one yet) and he was not sure what it was and was his 1st yellow :) once we told him that one of the best items in the game and once he upgrades it. he will have a much better chance to get in to raids as they always ask for it. but it is not even needed as you can see from what we just done. always good to pass on your knowledge.

People are elitists and exclusionists. They aren't good and need to be carried despite their level. This leads to LFG posts like this.
34 Warlock @Crota CP. 34+ players ONLY!!!!!! No scrubs or squeakers I'll check your DestinyTracker and I'll kick you if your not gud. MUST HAVE GHORN!!!!!! NOT LOOKING TO CARRY!!!!!!
A prime example of the average LFG post. If you are on LFG and a guy joins, give him a try.

2 답변작성자: Iji The Killer 8/12/2015 9:41:52 AMYou can play your game the way you want, they can play the game the way they want and everyone can be happy. Just because you don't like there post does not make you better, talking gets you nowhere instead act, make a post of your own invite all comers noob or not and practice what you preach. Did you make your own LFG post afterwards inviting any players of all skills and level after you had your epiphany? Not calling you out because I agree somewhat, but I play with who ever the first post I find on LFG whether they are good or not. I always stick with it and finish the raid with the group I find. I have been in three hour VoGs recently with some new players and taught them the whole way through the raid.

I'm putting it down to a combination of..... Aaaagh I've only got a few weeks left to complete all my moments of triumph. Aaagh I've only gotta couple if hours so this needs to go quickly Aaaagh if someone has a max gall and reached lvl 34 then they must be good. Right? Aaaagh carry me please. I need help but don't know how to ask for it honestly. It's a sad fact that these things happen but if you move away from the lfgs for a raid team and use them for occasional randoms with your own team of friends then they ain't so bad. I know your not looking for advice but anyone who does read this post and thinks yeah, that's me, then the 100.io is a really great site. I found the core of.my friends list on there and occasionally dip back in when they are offline. Happy hunting guardians

Love it how you bring up real issues. ranting or not. still people completely disregard it under the category " too long" this is why warning labels exist and instruction manuals aren't good enough to keep idiots from sticking there hands into dangerous machinery/animal cages on purpose. Hear you tho. I don't bother with forums, but I patrol venus and will answer random invites all the time from people trying VoG. I've been the "Kabr" so to speak for a few groups who had no idea (33+s BTW) what to do in there. Im not shitting you, I heard a lvl 34 say "Whats a gorgon"

Noticed this as well but you can find good people. I just leveled up a warlock and was level 30. Found a group tonight and we completed vault of glass hard all the way through and then ran thorough crota hard up to crota with only four of us before everyone had to call it a night. Find the right group, make friends and run with them again if all works well and they are chill. Don't rely on lfg and pick up posts regularly or you'll be disappointed. Funny thing is I've joined some of the groups you describe and they end up being new 34s who don't know what the hell is going on or what to do in vault of glass.

3 답변작성자: Swiftlock 8/12/2015 8:12:23 AM
To get to the point- *gratuitous amounts of text before the core point is made*
That's not how getting to the point is supposed to work. Anyway. Now, if you feel all righteous and noble helping out struggling players, that's great! More power to you! No sarcasm. Holding it against players who just want to make sure their teams are able to get the job done? Not cool. In fact, that makes you look a bit pretentious. I sure as hell don't want to be held back by overly inexperienced players when I have to grind the same PvE instance dozens upon dozens of times before the game decides to spit out that one item I'm looking for. Rage and call me a jerk, but to me, that's not fun at all.
