This is the first time I've ever really posted to a forum...but there is just something wrong to me with the way people look for other people regarding raids/trials/PoE.
This notion occurred to me a few weeks ago as I was going to start looking for raids to run my (at the time) lvl 30 Warlock and lvl 32 Titan through. As I sat there, shifting through different groups on Bungie's group forums to find a group, I began to notice a trend...
This wasn't just one of your "oh, OK, I guess that's reasonable and makes sense" trends, it was more of a "I want to do this as quickly as possible, no newbs, no scrubs, no little kids, I'm awesome and you suck" type of trends...
To get to the point, why does anyone need a group of six lvl 34 players with max 365 gally's and other max weapons to run normal friggin VoG, and why is that the requirement? The notion in itself is ridiculous.
Furthermore, its not like they were the only people requesting something to that extent. I saw others like normal Crota, and 32/34 PoE demanding the same level of players...meanwhile you have kids on there that are just begging you to take their lvl 29 into normal VoG. Since when has anyone NEEDED this kind of level or equipment to run these raids? IMO, if you need that, you're worse than the lvl 29 just trying to get into the raid.
To be clear, we were all running VoG and Crota on both normal AND hard before level 34 was ever available. We were running VoG on normal AND hard before lvl 32 was ever available for that fact. So again, I ask, why is it a requirement to be lvl 34 with 365 gally and other max weaps to run normal VoG? My answer, it shouldn't be and you're pathetic for demanding that.
I run raids because I like to run them, I enjoy them, and I enjoy them when they're challenging. Sure, I get frustrated sometimes, everyone does when you've been stuck on an event for three hours, but we've all been there. But this fact that someone who can't get into a raid because they aren't 34 or at least 32+ is ignoramus (ha-ha, big werdz).
What level were you when you ran your first raid with your first character? I bet you weren't a lvl 34 badass with 365 gally and max weaps with all the experience to run the raid backwards and blindfolded. No, like me you were probably some lvl 27 Hunter/Titan/Warlock begging some group of people to take you along for the ride.
In closing, and in short the point of my, let's say rant, here is...
Quit being stuck up and lazy, when you select the raid it shows you the RECOMMENDED level for the raid so why not start there in posting what level you "need".
Secondly, remember where you started, and show a little compassion for that 10 year old kid who's looking for a raid, yeah I know they can get annoying, but what does it say about you being a twenty something elitist prick to that 10 year old kid? You feel like a big shot after talking smack over the internet? How adult of you.
Thirdly, have fun, there's is no reason I should need to listen to you throw your damn controller across the room because, *gasp* we didn't down Crota the first time *gasp*.
And finally, let's help the little guy out, its not gonna kill you to carry someone every once in a while, there's no need to post that you NEED a "level 34+ with max gally and weaps and God mode unlocked and better work for the developers because I want my lewtz from this raid, you suck insta-kick" that stuffs just dumb.
The same goes for those of you demanding flawless for trials. I bet you weren't always flawless, in fact, I KNOW you weren't, and for you to be all "well they should try harder and do trials more and meh my panties are too tight, elitist elitist lewtz, sniffle". How the hell do you expect them to, for one, go flawless if they are constantly fighting groups of flawless people and for two even get to the point of playing if all you're requiring is them to be flawless, stop being dumb and apply some intelligence to your request.
To those of you haters that are gonna be all "meh, your just saying this because you suck, bleh bleh bleh". Get something straight, I have 3 lvl 34's, all with gally and other various max weaps, and most of you would be envious for what gear I have just sitting in my vault. Additionally I am always willing to help carry anyone as long as I am available and they put the group together.
End rant.

Bravo my friend! Our clan prides itself on helping others and I couldn't agree more with what you said.... apart from running with kids, now this isnt because we hate "squeekers" its because when im calling my friend a fùcking cünt (in jest) or im talking about dressing up as the easter bunny and -blam!-ing your mum (in jest) we dont think that appropriate for the younger lot of guardians. In the state the game is rated T for teen which create a very broad range for parents to think this game is appropriate. Its not. Thats why In the uk we use the pegi system which puts an age to it (16) but anyway I trailed off. Good work bro keep it up. Also id love to know what loot you have hiding that I couldnt possibly have? ;-)

2 답변작성자: Cass 8/12/2015 12:01:26 PMLook closer at the groups. The question is are you XB1 or PS4? If you are XB1 then join my clan and you will be raiding and dropping Skolas sooner than you think! also we take our time and have a major laugh. You may even find out the accident I had at the toilet one VoG raid, just before the templar.... EDIT the accident happened in the toilet at my house. Everyone knows the toilet in VoG is after the Templar

Because in some cases a certain person doesn't have 3 hours just to do vog or whatever before you say it I help with raids night falls etc etc all the time still run sword for people to this day I'm just saying some people don't want to spend hours doing it

7 답변Optional matchmaking! In game lfg! That's all we need. All the naysayers are screwing it up for the rest of us who don't wanna have to turn on our computers on and sift through all the rubbish posts. Especially for nightfalls and PoEs.

3 답변I love helping newbies through raids. And I see your point, some people are like that. I especially enjoy doing crota with people new to raiding.

1 답변The most annoying thing is BLAGGERS!!! People who say they have done it many times and know what they are doing then, when the raid starts, it transpires they have no f**cking idea what they are doing and spend the first 20 minutes (after the plates) getting lost on the way to the Templar. Sure, if you lie about your ability from the get-go it may get you invited quicker but, on the flip side, it will also get you kicked once its clear you sold some bullshit on LFG. If you let people know you haven't done it before decent people will be mindful of this and help you out.

4 답변It's mostly kids on the lfg sites from what I keep getting told so that in itself should answer your question. I am lucky I guess and have a regular group or groups that I play with which are 90% adults of 30yrs and up with the oldest about to be 60.

6 답변This is how it's been since launch and, I'd imagine, it's how it is on other games. Honestly? Deal with it. Nothing is forcing you to join these groups or stopping you from putting up your own LFG posts. Ignore it and move on. Besides, people that post that kind of stuff are probably the kind you don't want to play with in the first place.

4 답변Tl dr don't want to read. I say must be 34 with gjallarhorn just to further piss bungie off. Before I just asked have a good rocket or be a certain level but now I make it my mission to require them to have gjallarhorn just to prove that bungie caters to those that cry the most. In the end the nerf to gjallarhorn is the reason why I'm selective. Bungie said we exclude people I normally wouldn't. Now oh hell yeah I will

5 답변작성자: ChickenHawk110 8/12/2015 11:11:34 AMI don't know what to say. Its like you are ranting because there truly are assholes and dickheads in the world. It shouldn't be any astonishing news. Really. EDIT: Also remember that all of the demands that those assholes and dickheads specify on LFG, could completely and utterly be made redundant should Bungie implement optional matchmaking for the end-game activities. So, I don't blame the assholes and dickheads, they can't help it, they are like simple children, I blame Bungie's lack of effort.

1 답변I understand your point. However, there are plenty of post of those just looking for anyone to run a raid, trials, etc. If someone wants to start a raid and has requirements for their raid, then that is their prerogative. A lot of douchey players just love to play with other douchey players. Why would you even want to play with them? The smell of vinegar water would be atrocious and really hard to deal with.

1 답변People seem to want to get things done faster, Gjallarhorn allows that to happen. It's not needed, but people make it sound like a damn godsend. Which also annoys me. ~TheGreatNike

3 답변Way too long of a post, but I read the first paragraph. I personally, have time to teach noobs sometimes and don't other times. I don't care if they're max level, but they need to be a reasonable level. If I have time, I'll take a few new players. If I don't I only want ppl who have done it several times so it doesn't take forever and I can finish before I have to leave. I think this is behind most of those demands. PoE however, requires those higher levels. It would take way too long to run a full group of 32s thru skolas. It's just unreasonable to expect of someone. I've sherpa'd ONE lower level at a time thru it, but myself and the other player were always 34. Don't get butthurt because ppl don't have time, or don't want to teach someone. It's not our job to educate you. There are always a few groups on destiny lfg who will take newbs. Join those.

1 답변The chances of anyone who is currently a level 29 having run the raid are low. On the other hand, some of current level 34s have yet to run the raid... What people should be asking for is someone with experience/knowledge/awareness of raid mechanics above anything else (well level matters of course but that's trivial)
