This is the first time I've ever really posted to a forum...but there is just something wrong to me with the way people look for other people regarding raids/trials/PoE.
This notion occurred to me a few weeks ago as I was going to start looking for raids to run my (at the time) lvl 30 Warlock and lvl 32 Titan through. As I sat there, shifting through different groups on Bungie's group forums to find a group, I began to notice a trend...
This wasn't just one of your "oh, OK, I guess that's reasonable and makes sense" trends, it was more of a "I want to do this as quickly as possible, no newbs, no scrubs, no little kids, I'm awesome and you suck" type of trends...
To get to the point, why does anyone need a group of six lvl 34 players with max 365 gally's and other max weapons to run normal friggin VoG, and why is that the requirement? The notion in itself is ridiculous.
Furthermore, its not like they were the only people requesting something to that extent. I saw others like normal Crota, and 32/34 PoE demanding the same level of players...meanwhile you have kids on there that are just begging you to take their lvl 29 into normal VoG. Since when has anyone NEEDED this kind of level or equipment to run these raids? IMO, if you need that, you're worse than the lvl 29 just trying to get into the raid.
To be clear, we were all running VoG and Crota on both normal AND hard before level 34 was ever available. We were running VoG on normal AND hard before lvl 32 was ever available for that fact. So again, I ask, why is it a requirement to be lvl 34 with 365 gally and other max weaps to run normal VoG? My answer, it shouldn't be and you're pathetic for demanding that.
I run raids because I like to run them, I enjoy them, and I enjoy them when they're challenging. Sure, I get frustrated sometimes, everyone does when you've been stuck on an event for three hours, but we've all been there. But this fact that someone who can't get into a raid because they aren't 34 or at least 32+ is ignoramus (ha-ha, big werdz).
What level were you when you ran your first raid with your first character? I bet you weren't a lvl 34 badass with 365 gally and max weaps with all the experience to run the raid backwards and blindfolded. No, like me you were probably some lvl 27 Hunter/Titan/Warlock begging some group of people to take you along for the ride.
In closing, and in short the point of my, let's say rant, here is...
Quit being stuck up and lazy, when you select the raid it shows you the RECOMMENDED level for the raid so why not start there in posting what level you "need".
Secondly, remember where you started, and show a little compassion for that 10 year old kid who's looking for a raid, yeah I know they can get annoying, but what does it say about you being a twenty something elitist prick to that 10 year old kid? You feel like a big shot after talking smack over the internet? How adult of you.
Thirdly, have fun, there's is no reason I should need to listen to you throw your damn controller across the room because, *gasp* we didn't down Crota the first time *gasp*.
And finally, let's help the little guy out, its not gonna kill you to carry someone every once in a while, there's no need to post that you NEED a "level 34+ with max gally and weaps and God mode unlocked and better work for the developers because I want my lewtz from this raid, you suck insta-kick" that stuffs just dumb.
The same goes for those of you demanding flawless for trials. I bet you weren't always flawless, in fact, I KNOW you weren't, and for you to be all "well they should try harder and do trials more and meh my panties are too tight, elitist elitist lewtz, sniffle". How the hell do you expect them to, for one, go flawless if they are constantly fighting groups of flawless people and for two even get to the point of playing if all you're requiring is them to be flawless, stop being dumb and apply some intelligence to your request.
To those of you haters that are gonna be all "meh, your just saying this because you suck, bleh bleh bleh". Get something straight, I have 3 lvl 34's, all with gally and other various max weaps, and most of you would be envious for what gear I have just sitting in my vault. Additionally I am always willing to help carry anyone as long as I am available and they put the group together.
End rant.

Okay first, what gives you the right to rant to others about how THEY choose to play the game? Look I know for a fact, I'm not helping any 10 year old on any game do shit especially since they aren't even supposed to be playing the game in the first place and on top of that, I hate squeakers with a burning passion. Secondly, if you aren't on my friends list or at least level 32, then there's no reason for me to help you at all. At this point and time, if you aren't level 32, you either are new to the game, or you just don't play it at all simple as that. There's no excuse not to be 32 by now esoecially since all gear is light 36+. But even still, I won't let a 32 do anything with me unless they've some form of knowledge how to do things, otherwise they are dead weight. If you want to play hero and run them through these raids be my guess, but don't try and snear at other people because they don't want to help. "Compassion?" Please, do people participating in ToO show "compassion? " -blam!- no. I know when I want to get something done I want it done quickly and efficiently. When I run trials, I hate using thron and last word but due to the map it was on this past week, what choice did I have. Thirdly, anyone requiring gally for a raid at this point is a scrub but I do understand where they are coming from. They just want to get through the raid so they can get rewards and move on simple as that. I've never required one I just want a maxed out hunger if you don't have that I might not let you join but like I said before, I don't help randoms do raids, I only help friends on my friends list. So in conclusion, don't get mad at those of us that don't want to help because we simply don't want to take the time to help a lower level player get through something. I spend most of my time now in crucible and I don't like pve as much right now anyways so I most likely won't help you unless it benefits me somehow.

Entitled noobs are the bane of this game. Some scrub always wants to get carried in a hard mode raid. I don't care much for people who just got the game and want to jump ahead of everyone else by being carried through endgame content. To those I say "git gud" :3

Some of these people recruiting carry people ALL THE TIME they just want to get something done, with raids carrying one person is fine but in Trials one person that's not doing well can screw up everything. I understand some people need to at least be in trails and raids to have the experience but after several games of this they get tired.
this is just my opinion on the concept, I'm fine with carrying but it gets old
1 답변작성자: Psychedelia 8/12/2015 3:15:50 PMI know we were obviously all kids once, but... I hate playing destiny with kids. The shit they say and the voice they say it in.... God it gets on my nerves. 100% of the time that I am leader, the second I hear that high pitched pre-pubescent voice, I boot them. No questions asked. I can't stand it. I've also left many groups where I couldn't kick them. Please note, I do NOT make fun of them or try to hurt their feelings, or even tell them (or anyone else) why they got kicked, I just do it and move on. Maturity is a must for me and that voice... God, that voice is murder. Something about what a microphone does to it before it gets to my ears.. Makes it the equivalent of sonic knives in my ears. I also don't wanna censor my vulgar self in fear of unintentionally teaching some 5th grader to say the words or phrase that gets him suspended from school. Parents shouldn't let their young children play any games that allows them to talk to any random and potentially depraved group of adults online. That is shitty parenting. I know my kids won't have that chance until they're at least teenagers.

1 답변Wow, that is a long post. Short answer: they hand out level 34 like candy. If you play much, you are level 34. Corrolarily (is that a word?), if you are not level 34, you must not play much, so you will probably be confused and slowing things down. It isn't that the content requires level 34, it is more like, how can any serious player have not hit 34 weeks ago?

2 답변I would advise you to find a group/clan to join that has a reasonably large player base that isn't full of dbags. It can be a little trickier, but most clans form under a central ideology, so you'll usually find people who identify with that way of thinking in the clan. But once you find that group you'll have access to a lovely filter that puts you in with people of your ilk. And you probably won't see any of these yahoos who need a level 35 hunter with maxed Fatebringer, icebreaker, and dual wield gallys to clear the level 22 daily heroic.

2 답변Voice of reason and logic, something that has seemingly flown out the window here with people making ridiculous requirements. I first ran VoG with my Titan main at 29. I was green and inexperienced, without a Gally but had an Icebreaker and listened to the leader. I then attempted to bring my lvl 27 warlock to get the raid armor and make the jump to thirty, but rng wasn't too kind on me and I kept dying (I was playing my warlock as if she was a Titan, which was a wrong way to play it). This was way back before TDB released.

While the level requirements/gear requirements in SOME posts are just plain stupid, i do see the trend to: people don't want to PLAY destiny, they want to get a JOB done in destiny. It's a double edged sword. In one aspect that feeling of "impending reset" is what drove as all into this bizarro addiction of a video game, on the other hand it's what makes the game not necessarily fun to play. I know when i was playing a lot it was for the rewards, not the experience. I personally would never ask for crazy requirements like that. You're a 27 and want to do vog? Fine by me. Maybe with TTK things will be different and people will genuinely want to play the game vs rush through to get the rewards. I didn't enjoy playing CE the 10th time, i just wanted the certain gun i was missing. I still find nightfalls pretty fun. I don't need anything. In fact i hadn't played at all for over a week and jumped on last night to do the nightfalls with both my characters. had a blast. Got terrible rewards but, again, that wasn't what i was after. It's a grind fest. That's how the game was designed. That's why, for the time being, youwill see posts looking to get shit done not sit around admiring the scenery. Hope TTK is great for all you guys/gals. I am personally looking forward to Destiny 2 though. Need a nice long break from this game.
