Dark souls. There is multi-player so it's I bit comparable. Every piece of gear can be used for endgame and later playthroughs. This is possible because of weapon or armor upgrades that give simply more power and weapon dmg relative to different stats. Zelda... Oh no the mastersword aka The Last Thornmoon. Beats everything :/ I think destiny is way too unique to find truly comparable games...
