4 답변Here's 2 theories. One explaining why guns should become obsolete as you progress and one why guns shouldn't become obsolete as you progress. 1. Why guns should become obsolete as you progress: If guns don't become more powerful as you progress then there's nothing to work towards and the game becomes boring as you, the player, already have the best and most powerful weapons. There would be no need to play the new content for there's nothing it can give you that's worth anything. (*cough* prison of elders) 2. Why guns should progress as you progress: To keep old content relevant. If only the new guns are relevant, than that means, like this past year, we will see players using the same handful of weapons and gear. If old gear progresses then that gives the player a variety of different weapons he/she can use for different in game situations. If VoG and Crota weapons/gear become worthless then VoG and Crota essentially become worthless as well and the content becomes nothing more than wasted space on the game. Conclusion: Bungie needs to create new weapons that are as good and can compete with older weapons while still keeping the older weapons at least somewhat relevant. If the only gear that is worth anything is gear from the new raid, then we'll only be playing the new raid. If we're only playing the new raid, year 2 will be nothing more than a mirror image of year 1. Obviously we have all the gear from VoG and Crota but new players won't. They would still need to play those raids and a good way to keep the content relevant for year 1 players is add the new exotics to the loot table

1 답변작성자: Always Unreal 8/11/2015 4:33:10 PMGta v. Many of the guns you can buy right away you can use forever. Ex: homing launcher, sticky bombs, grenades I can't think of any others.

Blacklight Retribution (standard assault rifle can take out any enemy the same as most other weapons) Invisible, Inc. (they'll be some of your most useful tools, and in some cases the reason you picked a certain character) Natural selection 2 (the standard assault rifle can handle most situations, and the skulk always has some use)

You use your spells or attacks or whatever to fight enemies. Your comparing apples to oranges here. These weapons we have are our lifelines on destiny. These weapons we have spent hours to grind for, to reroll for those perfect stats, to carry with us day by day to slay our most formidable foes. To make them obsolete is a slap to the face. All it is now is a time to re grind for the same weapons just different skins.

4 답변The people who want to use the same weapons are the same people that say "there is nothing to do in this can and the loot is worse then what I'm useing now. It's like the people that want more cut scenes... But also want to skip them.

21 답변I don't really care about weapons becoming obsolete because it's a MMO and that's what happens when a expansion comes out, the problem is the game selling it's self as a fps witch has brought over the cod/battlefield crowd who don't know how a MMO works.

Battlefield 3, all weapons were viable at any point in the game Final Fantasy 11, max level cap was 75 for about 6 to 7 years and 3 expansions came out during that time. each expansion added weapons and gear but there was still older items worth using until the level cap went above 75. Once that happened about 99% of all the old items became worthless but I was able to enjoy all the hard work I put into the game for years before everything changed and the new grind for all new gear began.

Well if it's as you progress then there are lots of games. Mega man series Metroid Tomb raider Castlevania Pretty much any game that gives you better weapons as you progress but still allows you to use your old gear to access different areas. I realize that's not what you meant but it's what you said. ;)

3 답변작성자: Dragonborn012 8/11/2015 3:02:01 PMDark Souls (and the other souls games) Mass Effect I wanna say Fallout 3 and NV but I'm not sure The thing is every gun in destiny feels unique. You get "attached" to some guns and they defined your pvp and pve experience. It's different then swinging a lvl 30 flaming sword vs a lvl 90 lighting sword with the same attack animation. Idk that's how I feel.
