Usually gear becomes obsolete as you find newer, better items. However, that's usually all part of the game. In Destiny's case, you need to buy extremely overpriced "expansions" (i.e. content cut from the original game) to even feel like anything you're doing matters.

2 답변작성자: pl0785 8/11/2015 8:57:15 PMThey should make the only way to progress in level to be raiding Vog for 30, Crota to 32 and PoE to 34. This would keep shit relevant and od things could still be phased out. Finally add some goddamn matchmaking to facilitate this. If anyone has played FFXIV they'll know what I'm thinking of. We add a raid roulette. If you've completed the raid and are at a certain lvl, you would be able to get extra drops for joining the random raid. The system would match 4-5 experienced players(who get their increased reward) with 1-2 noobs. In the end, everyone would be happy Edit: in FFXIV, you're actually happy to see a first timer in your group because the bonus is substantial enough to make carrying them more than worthwhile

1 답변RPGs. That always happens. You sir seem to have never played an rpg. And destiny is taking some inspiration from MMO's. So it's gunna be like that even more.

What would be the point of progressing If your old equipment isn't out powered by what your getting through progression. That's literally the point of a pregression system. Is so that your not using the same old stuff and your character gets stronger and stronger as you go. If the items didn't get stronger there would be no point to pregression.

6 답변Bloodborne Last of Us Witcher 3 Far Cry 4 Metro Last Light That's just 30 seconds of thinking to come up with 5 examples. You're obviously trying to passively defend Bungie, but there's plenty of games that don't totally ignore your time and efforts.

2 답변Games like that would be boring as hell. Half the fun for me is progressing while getting new and better equipment. Boring as shit if you were stuck with the same gear constantly.

6 답변Warframe Halo Payday 2 Tomb Raider Battlefront Grand Theft Auto Twisted Metal Mass Effect Witcher (if you get good gear quickly, it stays good forever) Far Cry Left 4 Dead Battlefield Titanfall Call of Dookie... I mean, Duty Planetside 2 Resident Evil Need For Speed (with enough upgrades and skill you can beat the entire game with your first car) Devil May Cry Ghost Recon I could have listed many more... but you get the point. In all of those games you can upgrade any gear you have and love... and use it successfully through the entire game, without fear of it being "useless" or getting nerfed. Or, you can keep your starting gear, and go through the entire game. Introduction of new equipment in these games gives you the OPTION to use other stuff... it doesn't REQUIRE you to delete your old stuff and grind out the new crap.
