Why do people judge skill based on k/d?
THIS GAME IS NOT AND NEVER WILL BE COMPETITIVE.
It means nothing, somebody could either not [u][i]always[/i][/u] try...or they used to be bad and now they are beasts.
If you think I suck at crucible play me in rumble and I promise I will win everytime.
Play 10 or more matches with me and I promise I will come in first everytime.
I average a 2.0+ k/d every game I try in.
K/d means nothing.
Edit: Alright fine, anybody that maintains below 1.0 kd is bad...if you are in the 1.0-2.0 you could play like a 3.0 k/d player. It all depends.

1 답변What I hate is that I get a TON of kills but I always die a lot. So I am usually first on the leaderboard for my team but my kd sucks lol

4 답변Yeah it means nothing when you're a sniper and everyone else is using TLW, thorn, and shotguns. Pvp is broken right now.

K/d , grimoire, etc are all just points of reference about a person before you get to know them (or while you know them) to get an idea for the kind of player they are is all. They mean something, how much it means from person to person may vary though.

I think K/D is just a reference point tool. I am relatively new to PvP and have only really started to enjoy it in the last 6 to 8 months. Because I was so bad at it I would avoid playing it. But when you've played all the story missions there is nothing more to do than explore the realms of PvP. I'm still bad at it but I enjoy trying. And I've noticed my K/D average increasing so therefore I feel that I'm getting better and really only matters to me. There may be some K/D snobs out there but I wouldn't loose any sleep over it. Just go in have fun.

Look at my k/d, it hovers around 1. Was new to fps games when I started. But I also run around with husk, try to dance with opponents, and do other dumb crap. That mean I'm bad? Sure, if you want to take a game seriously. I prefer to enjoy myself and not be an elitist who has something to prove in a videogame...

K/D is determined by... (by percent) 1. If you play mostly in a fireteam or solo (50%) 2. If you play Hunter, Warlock, or Titan. (25%) 3. If you use scrub weapons, scrub perks, and scrub abilities (blink, shotguns, final round, TLW, etc) (15%) 4. If you use rapid fire controllers and lag tactics (5%) 5. If you have skill (5%)

1 답변My overall K/D is 2.3 and I feel like with more amount of time you play, it's a bit harder to maintain. It means to ME that someone might know how to kill and live much more effectively. ~[i]TheGreatNike[/i]
