I have a question id like some advice on. I played destiny on PS3, did not rebuy it because I was disappointed in it. Now, I have extra money, and have pre ordered all the games I want pre ordered, and the taken king is looking like they'll finally fix some shit. Should I buy it or just save my money for other stuff?

I will be buying the Taken King because I don't see a reason why not. From what I've seen from the trailers and gathered online from reliable sources such as Forbes, Gameinformer, and IGN, I'm convinced that TTK will be meeting if not exceeding expectations. I don't mind the $40 price tag because I think it'll be worth it. All the changes they are making are things we asked for and more. They've done everything we've asked short of optional matchmaking, thus i know they are quietly listening. The enemies are re skinned in appearance with one or two variations from the original, does this bother me? Slightly. I would have preferred a Cabal infused Hive Hybrid rather than reskinning, but this isn't a huge issue because it's obvious they won't fight the same as the original and that's what it comes down to. It's not a beauty contest, we shoot them. 8 missions + a plethora of quest = a very happy camper. They've promised more narrative in these missions as well as skipable cutscenes. You are right to be skeptical of TTK, but for me, I look at the whole as I'm betting $40 that it'll be good.

already pre-ordered my copy on psn. Destiny is turning out to be one of the best games I have ever played. sure it has its problems, but it is still one of the best games made.

Kinda surprised its only 70% going to buy when this is a poll on bnet. You think it would be 90%+ buying if they still visit forums. Im not buying untill its like $20 expansion. People that get destiny now have it so much better then us day 1s. They get a real game and supposedly a story this time. I still dont know shit about the traveler and i cant cant understand how its been this long and that big ball who is on the cover of the game was never explained

Already PRE-ORDERED. It's a great game for those who aren't self-entitled little shïtfaces who can't afford a meager $40-60 for a game that is evolving into an excellent game. You're the minority. Scrub!

they haven't convinced me it's worth 40. i got excited for both TDB and HoW and was not thrilled with the end result. I'll wait or simply not buy any more content from them until i deem it worth my money. that's just me i don't care what others do with their money. 1 new free roam area 1 raid a few missions a few weapons a few sets of armor same enemies with new attacks instead of just making up a whole new set of enemies or a whole new set of hive creatures new subclass new pvp stuff go back to same areas or same ones in reverse the other two dlcs put together cost the same amount and together seem to offer more content. in TDB/HoW we got 1 raid 1 new activity (PoE) a few new missions each time a few new weapons each time a few sets of armor each time new pvp stuff each time go back same areas or same ones in reverse i'm just not feeling the price for that and i have no idea how much the following DLC in 3 - 6 months will cost. i can't just keep blindly giving them my money. now if they say the next DLC is free or 10 bucks or that all future DLCs for Destiny 1 are free then this 40 becomes very much worth it. hell these guys want 20 bucks for emotes and class items.. are they on crack? a whole DLC cost 20 bucks. they just don't know how to price their content.
