The Dilemma.
I am quite displeased with amount of people that use exotic weapons as a crutch and substitute them in place of actual skill or strategy. I believe that if you excessively use any exotic weapon that you should know that you are holding yourself back from being actually good at the game. I have never picked up one of these auto-win weapons in defense or offense of my fellow guardians and I hope that other people take up the banner of using weapons that take some skill to use.

I thank you for your time.[/quote] I like trials, it's fun. It puts a competitive feel on pvp but doesn't claw at you. However it can quickly become a nuisance. Anytime I'm at 5 or more wins, the game decides "hey, f### you kc, you're going to have to deal with error code baboon or at least someone on your team even though every person in the match is green bar. Or here is an entire team of tlw, thorn, and shotties. And just to piss you off, how about some guy who teabags you even though they probably don't even have a kill." It just goes from enjoyable to down right aneurysm inducing. The worst part is I really hate to use the big guns of the meta. Sure using my thorn or my her courtesy is easy and a lot of times makes it so that there isn't even a fight. But why do I have to stoop down to that level, and utilize weapons I hate to stand a chance? All I truly want is to use my load out, my mida or bad juju or pradyeth's revenge and trolley problem and still have AN ACTUAL CHANCE AT WINNING. If that means I only get to go once, so be it. All I truly want is a void scholar and to have some challenge in a fun crucible mode without pulling out a bunch of broken guns. [spoiler]but at the moment, I guess it's too much to ask for[/spoiler]

I use exotics when I can because I've only been playing about a month. I don't have a lot of them and I still have perks to get for them. I used the last word today a lot but had to switch off to my legendary scout rifle when I needed to do better. Other than that I play with what I find most fun.

How many people have beated Atheon and Crota on hard only because of Gjallahorn, or The Mythoclast? The amount of exotic exploiters is too damn high! I dream of a game with out them! Everyone would basically be on a level playing field, no more being held at gun point by RNG. It sounds perfect. I think Bungie should just get rid of exotic weapons in TTK. If they did that, it'd actually be worth the price.

Ah another hipster player i love it. I dont wanna use a gun that other people use because they are crutches. No matter what, people will always be using the best weapon and there always will be one. The way you look at certain guns being crutches is stupid. Every gun besides the khovostov is a crutch because it kills faster than another weapon. So dont think you are better than someone else for not using whatever gun u like and doing better than u. Maybe if u actually won some games u would stop crying
