Thanks to Xur being awesome this week and selling me the final exotic hand cannon I required to complete my collection, I went ahead and jumped into crucible with my newly acquired weapon.
I didn't really do all that great. In fact, I was having a hard time to get kills. Perhaps I need the stability perks to make the gun more controllable... or does it still kick this hard even with the perks? Even then, this gun feels weird in my hands. Does anyone have tips on how to master this gun so I can feel like I'm The Man With No Name?

Use aggressive ballistics and perfect balance. Aim down sights for the first shot, then as you pull the trigger release the ads. The first shot should be ads, but the second will benefit from the ads target acquisition and the hipfire bonus accuracy and damage. This will allow you to get a two shot from much farther away, and will still work after the nerf to the extent they keep its range.

I have had my Last Word since it dropped in a nightfall for me, which was in the original Destiny. I can say from experience that there is a best way to use the weapon, seeing how it is my favorite Hand Cannon. What I tend to do is aim at the target and land about two hits. After that, I release the aim and hip fire the rest of the time. The reason not to begin hip fire is because your precision with the weapon is already off by a little. Wasting ammo isn't an option with this weapon, so you need to land as many as you can. Now, there is also a tactical way to use it, much like any other weapon. If the first two hits are precision shots, continue to aim for a third hit and most likely than not you will land a 111, killing the enemy. If your target is airborne, keep aiming. If your target is at a distance, keep aiming. If your target is right in front of you up to 20 feet away, hip fire on shot 3. Trust me, people get upset when you three shot them with the weapon. Always count your shots. If your enemy has you low and you have only two shots left, retreat to cover and reload/kill your enemy with a different method. It takes practice to get used to its rate of fire, so don't treat it like any other hand cannon. If you follow these tips, you'll be good to go!

It's bad until you level it up. Go for stability. For distant targets aim down sights and do single shots- once you are lined up and connecting you can use the auto. Hip fire at close range can be very effective, but I only do this defensively on someone rushing. I always use hand cannon reload gloves with it- mag is too small and reload will kill you with the full auto.

1. Draw gun from holster. 2. Point the hole on the small end of the gun at the enemy. 3. Pull trigger rapidly. 4. Reload, go to step 2. If all enemies are dead go to step 5. 5. Holster weapon. I host training classes every Thursday night 8-10pm PST.

Buy PvP gear - Gloves that increase HC reload speed - Chest/boots with extra Hand Cannon ammo - Max intellect and discipline - Increased melee attack speed - Grenade kills give you more super - Increased grenade throw distance 2. Level the gun up - Buy telemetries, and do bounties across all characters to max the weapon out. 3. Practice - Set your subclasses for PvP + agility > armor > recovery + blink, aoe supers, grenades, etc... - Do bounties, patrols, dailies, and stories with your PvP loadout. + Last Word, Thorn, Hawkmoon, Red Death, MIDA, Stranger's Rifle, Fulcrum, University Remote + Sniper + Machine gun Good luck, and enjoy your sweet new gun.

1 답변I feel you. I've never had luck just random blasting with this gun even with stability. My recommendation is use it like a scout and pull trigger with every press. Supposedly this is this ads bug when if you start from hip fire and then aim you get bonus damage. But seems more trouble than it's worth. It's a good gun and all, but no thorn.
