Why do SOOO many people use THORN in regular PvP
I mean cmon son! WHY?!?!? Stop it... Please....
During IB I was playing regular Control and it was just so relaxing and fun to be in a Thorn free environment. Cant wait until 2.0
I can outgun most Thorn users 1v1 with damn near any primary.. The problem is when im going against 3 or more. Or when I just finished up a gunfight with someone else and there stands the camping/hiding/scared Thorn idiot with the DOT

Imo, if they are going for an mmo style gameplay, instead of nerfing weapons, they need to add support abilities for classes to counter weapons like thorn. Perhaps the Titan bubble can remove debuffs like poison and burning. Something's my like that. It would be a nice change of pace to PVP rather than having strict shooting skills. A little strategy so to speak.

I didn't even really use it in IB. My titan was my main guy I levelled and I used vex/salvation state on him and still did well against the thornys. My hunter is my handcannon guy so I will admit I have been using it on him. But I recently got hawkmoon. So my thorn will just collect dust now

1 답변i personally don't enjoy using Thorn at all, there's no denying it is a great and extremely powerful weapon, however, i don't like and would only use it if i feel in disadvantage (i.e. Skirmish vs. 2-3x Thorn) ...on the other hand, i absolutely LUV The Last Word, i skipped first Iron Banner (...ever), but TLW has been my go-to since Banner No.2, way before it was 'cool' and probably will remain right in its Top Spot (for me) even after the nerf - not only i like the looks and sound, but it makes a great companion to my Sniper Rifle, in case i get flanked and need to switch to CQC sue me :)

I normally go in with my Voc. I get some kills and what not. After having the winning advantage, the -blam!-ers get pissed and pop out the thorn. I get pissed off so I pop mine out. Others then do the same. And that students is why many use the thorn.

3 답변Try combined arms when it's around. No shot guns No thorn No HC in general really Blink doesn't really become too involved. Good times.
