UK Pricing of TTK
The Legendary Edition of TTK is priced at £45, whereas TTK on it's own is £40!
How is the Destiny vanilla game, plus both expansions, valued at £5 now, when I paid around £70!!
I want to buy TTK, I really do, but these extortionate price tags are putting me off purchasing anything. It seems unreasonable to make people pay this much for the DLC on it's own. I understand that the pricing is done this way to entise new customers for Destiny, but it's really screwing the people who gave had the game since day 1!
I'm not from the wealthiest background and it may not seem like much money for some, but for just a DLC I've got to pay a full game price, and it's difficult to justify.
$40 is £25/6, how is that fair pricing?! Why should I have to pay more because I live in a different country, why can't Bungie use exchange rates?

5 답변It sucks but check cdkeys out. They sell psn wallet codes for decent discounts. OOS atm but they had the £40 card for £33.25 yesterday. Worth keeping an eye on it see if it comes back in stock. Makes the ridiculous pricing seem a little less hard to swallow.

3 답변Suprised to still see posts like this... Just don't get TTK... TTK = 1 week worth of content, no story,a few months worth of boring grind, no replay value(raids count as grind), daily errorcodes. Fallout 4 = Cheaper than TTK, months worth of content, replay value, actual story... *list goes on* If you could only choose one then what would it be? I guess it all comes down to if you rather have fun or play destiny. No offence to the new players that still enjoy destiny, i played destiny for a year and every time i go on right now is to play with some friends. If i attempt to play it alone i only reach the login screen then i get bored and turn off the ps4 and start doing some chores, i honestly think chores are more fun than destiny. Cleaning the toilet will always have a more interesting story than destiny will ever have... God i'm bored of this game, i mean... It was fun the first 1-2 weeks after the new content was released but then you got back to that useless and painful grind just to get gear you didn't want or need. Next step: stop going on bungie.net.

4 답변작성자: chrisandsheva 8/5/2015 4:13:33 PMSeriously can't wrap my head around it, they cannot sell taken king to anyone unless that person already has everything, game and both dlc's, unlike most games i played before that brought out some major dlc/expansion you never needed to have all previous content, if you wanted it just bought it, they've backed themselves into a corner by way game is designed so only way out is this silly looking rrp's for different versions.. i'm really wondering and kind of hoping that story progress's same, (sales story lol).. i mean in like five years when Destiny3 out it'd be nice to Still have VoG or CE even PoE on menu/map, data size will be massive i guess, still i'm hoping thats way it'll go. The non-conversion rate in this case is appalling, i'm used to paying more for less (censored etc) and later access, this time it's ridiculous, precedent, thats the bit getting me down.

1 답변Probably because both VoG and Crota's End are now pointless. The gear you get from both with the exception of Necrochasm and Vex Mythoclast are 100% useless.

12 답변This is the gaming market. As time goes on, the older content is less valuable. Also, when companies bundle old content with the new stuff it is typically cheaper as well. When I bought my xbox1 I got titan fall for free. That's just the way it is. If you want the taken king for cheaper, wait a year, and buy it then.

4 답변You are familiar with the completely normal market situation where something is worth less when it's old than when it was brand new? How can you expect vanilla destiny + DLCs not to have decreased in value since last year?

2 답변It's all about the money. When you look at how the legendary edition "values" the year one content, it's just stupid. Then you remember who's publishing the game and you move on with it.
