So Bungie just told us..
That the day The Taken King releases.
All that gear your grinded for for hours on end and worked hard to get is becoming useless.
All that ascending for nothing.
Thanks Bungie. I'm cancelling my pre-order.

[b]We're getting remodelled weapons with different names and colours.
Devil You Know and Revelator have same base stats.
Red Hand IX and Lone.Rebel have same base stats.
Deadshot Luna SR1 and B-Line Trauma have same stats.
I'm so happy to dismantle my favourites for identical overall base stats DUPLICATES.
Everything will continue to be the same.
Yes "move on" to "better weapons".
All that changes are the name, colour and a slight adjustment to the models.. The attack value goes up.
Yet THE BASE STATS WILL DUPLICATE.[/b]
Edit: Yes this is my first MMO.
Yes I love the weapons I am currently using.
Yes I love playing Destiny, gameplay is incredible.
Yes I will complain when things piss me off.

I really couldn't care less about the genre.
Edit 3: If you're happy spending money for your weapons, that you worked hard for, to become obsolete then good for you.
I chase the weapons. You may chase armor, grimoire, experience or enjoy doing the same thing week in week out.
Insults don't affect me, in fact it shows how low your intellect is.
"They said wait" they shouldn't have to.
They shouldn't let people jump to conclusions.
They shouldn't let misinformation be released.
Edit 4: unlike the majority. I rarely use my fatebringer.
Final Edit: After reading many constructive replies and having checked in on Destiny today. I've decided I'm going to have to line up all my weapons and start cutting them out. Keeping all exotics and useful crucible weapons and those I consider to be useful.

It is the way of keeping people chasing after things without having a power creep in the game. Nothing more. You are correct the weapons will be just the same with a new skin. We have gained no ground against the enemies so far and we won't now but since they allowed update of weapons in the last DLC and no one chased the new junk with shank burn they decided to just end it. Not a good way to go about things but it is their sand box and I guess if we don't like it we will just have to move on. As far as I know I am still in for another round but have not and will not pre-order. Want to know a lot more before I send any more money down the line on the game.

You're still using your fatebringer, because you adamantly do NOT want to experience new things while complaining about lack of new things in this game. Each dlc adds nothing for you. You complain about it, while you still use your 365 fatebringer. "There's no new gameplay!" You say as you refuse to change up your style to get with the times. People won't raid with you. You haven't beaten anything but Oryx normal because you refuse to use anything but fatebringer. "But this weapon has better atk, stats, and perks for this!" Your fire team says. "NO!" You scream, "I WONT LET BUNGIE CHANGE THIS GAME WHY WONT BUNGIE ADD NEW CONTENT"

There is no way you can say bungie shouldn't have to make people jump to conclusions, because that's exactly what's happening here. You can't expect a giant company to tell people not to jump to conclusions, because as soon as they'd say that, someone would jump to the conclusion that we might be getting something else we didn't know about. With bungie, there's always somebody bitching on here, they can't control that, and if they tried, you'd still complain about it.

CoD makes its players start everything over every year, yet fanboys still flock to that in droves. if the act of playing a game to earn new rewards to replace your previous rewards really effects you on that profound of a level, you need a new hobby

4 답변Have you moved schools before, bought a new car perhaps? You see these are all "the same thing" remodelled to look new but they all do one basic thing.. yes? so similar with weapons in destiny... An auto rifle may have the same stats as another one but it would look different or have a new name. In the end they both are the same thing just a different "skin" STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT THINGS THAT ARE HAPPENING IN DESTINY IT IS ANNOYING AND POINTLESS!!

9 답변Not being able to ascend in new DLC is bad Here's why. When the dark below came out everyone was forced to use the same armor and raid weapons since they were the best. I know there is no longer light level but everyone is going to wear the same armor since of armorstats. And everyone Gonna use the raid weapons since there the only ones that are good.

They're actually not reskin a from what I can make out. If you look at the weekly update with the weapons they specify that different manufacturers have different numbers of rollable perks. Suros being 4 if I recall correctly. That intrigues me to the point of not passing judgement.

Dude....that's were all the "content" is. It's in the grind to level up weapons and armor. That's why they had us re-level everything after TDB. Outside of this there has been very little content. My fear is that this philosophy will carry forward with TTK.....which is exactly why I won't preorder.
