Which of these anime shows should I dig into first?
I've been told I should watch these 2 shows. Any advice which one I should watch?
Fate/zero
Log horizon
I'm going with fate/zero first, as it seems to be the popular opinion. Thanks for all the replies, and added suggestions! I've written quite a few down to watch in the future.

sorry if I'm late to the party, but Fooly Cooly is always worth a watch. you can easily knock the series out from front to back and it's entertaining. keep an open mind going into it and you'll love it. also Cowboy Bebop, it's my fave ever
